As soon as I took this out of the package, I was excited. I thought that the wreath hook was sturdy, the color was consistent with the picture, and the adjustment mechanism seemed to work properly. Two ridges are visible on the top of the hook (more on those below) that provided a design feature to prevent the door hanger from slipping forward and backward. Upon putting the hanger over the door and gently attempting to close it, I sensed some resistance, so I gave up on squeezing the door shut. After pulling the door back, I saw that the two ridges on top had left ugly dents in the top of the As disappointing as it is to have to patch and repaint my door frame, I cannot help but feel sorry for myself. If you are going to return this item, I do not recommend it unless perhaps you have a gap between your door frame and top edge of your door. My apologies for not mentioning this in my previous reviews, but this product has disappointed me greatly.
