Because of how my front porch is structured (I have an enclosed walkway), I had to choose the 15" wreath since I have a tall front door, and I would not have been able to see my ornament from the street had I chosen the shorter wreath. There seems to be no difference other than the drop in length between the sizes. It might help if I explain that.
If the storm door were not as thick as a regular door, there would almost certainly be excess space where the door would not fit. The wreath may or may not be able to rotate, but I think it would work just fine.
There is no information available regarding the maximum weight it can support, but my wreath weighed several pounds and held firm without flexible.

It is made of pretty metal and is sturdy. As stated, however, no usage has occurred. a hook on the top of the Placing the wreath on the opposite hook would be ideal. The door is shut. There is no way to close the door. There is too much thickness in the upper hook. It is impossible to close the door. Rather than saving time and money, it wastes both. My black door looks great with the black hanger. In the past I had a thicker silver metal hanger (and it was more expensive) that made it difficult to close the door and led to energy inefficiency.
