When I received it, I was very disappointed. There is no doubt that it is cheaply made since it is light weight. There are signs of exploration on the top part of the statue, as if it had been sitting in a warehouse for I took some time to write my review because I was so upset that I had to wait so long. I purchased it when our daughter came home from college and she was disappointed in me knowing that I would pay that much. I then gave some locations (Earthbound) furniture of higher quality. They were heavy and not made of low quality materials.

I love the fact that the green in the piece mimics copper and adds a unique touch that makes it stand out. It is nice to read the reviews and not feel left out, so I added my thumbs up too. The size is perfect for my shelf and I'm very satisfied with the look. I would definitely recommend it as a gift.

I removed one star (would have removed another half, if possible) due to the very sharp point on the back that cut my finger when I removed it from its Various colors of gold or silver paint make it appear to be made of resin and painted blue, black, and old-fashioned-looking. The weight and cheap feel of this product isn't good in the hand, but it looks great at a desk. The design is intricate and balanced, and the colors are pretty. Keeping the sharp point after filing it off is fine with me. A sight to behold from a distance.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, there's a lot of beauty in this statue. Though it is not as deep of a blue as it appears in the marketing photo, I do enjoy the colour. It would make a nice gift, and it would be.
