During the reign of Caracalla, the Roman empire grew strong. The ruthless tyrant ruled with an iron hand. So, as others have said, be sure not to confuse him with Marcus Aurelius, who lived and died before Caracalla even existed. As a result of the history connected to Caracalla, he found a place in our house. I think it's a beautiful work of art and looks much more expensive than it actually This piece looks very similar to one that is up for auction with SB's at the moment. There are several large items in this pack, but they are not excessively It is basically impossible to topple the bus over with a relatively strong storm. Our kitty is kept inside, so it does not pose a problem to us.
I paid $77. 20 at Warehouse for him, so I give him five stars. He came loose in an open box that had a 14"x12" hole in it, but had no damage.
On Marcus' face, there is such a variety of expressions. The thought of what he is thinking often intrigues me. The piece we think is the best in the house is our favorite. Prices for these busts were all over the place. Tuscany offers the best value for money, and its quality is unsurpassed. Stoic is a good word to describe him. The best thing about Marcus is that we like him. I forgot to add, it was Safely and Well Presented in a meticulous manner. The car could have been destroyed by a typhoon, an earthquake or a blizzard but not a single scratch would have appeared on it!.
This item is wonderful and I have two of them flanking the entrance to my kitchen, I mounted them on a DT plinth and I think you won't be disappointed. Unlike the other busts, mine does not have a smoothly finished surface.
I was at first stunned to see how lifelike the piece was when I first opened it. Stunning work of art!! I'm amazed at how stone can be molded and shaped to look so lifelike. Not expecting the bells and whistles, but the regal beauty was truly gorgeous! The price is well worth it! Spending money well was well worth it.
This is ugly.
There is something funny about how these two could not be more different in the way they handled the empire. If you buy this, please do not tell anyone that it came from A brief update This review can still be found under Marcus Aurelius, as it was posted about a year ago. Caracalla's legal name was Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus Augustus, but let's be honest, he was more likely a nickname. Marcus Aurelius is the only emperor we instantly think of when we hear the name and it isn't Caracalla at all. The same reason we don't confuse Gaius Caesar with Gaius Ceasar, the Roman Emperor who ruled as I would appreciate it if this listing could be corrected. I've updated to Thanks for correcting the title, everyone can enjoy their Caracalla busts now.
