In a nutshell This ornament looks great I own the NES, so picking up the snes was a definite must. Super Mario World theme is evident whenever I play it.
It's true Hallmark isn't present as the retailer it used to be back in the 1990s/early 2000s, I There are no more greeting cards for sale (at least not the way they used to be). However, if you can no longer produce ornaments of high quality like you used to, then scale back your production. It is not necessary to create hundreds of new ones every year because the quality of the new ones is terrible. If I look back at my ornaments from the “Golden Era”, they were so intricate and full of detail. It was worth $20+ to get the variety of materials. Nowadays they are mostly painted plastic, and I need to order AT LEAST 2 so I can check them out and keep the best ones. However, 2 isn't enough any more. I find both SNES systems to be flawed in several ways There are paint chips, paint bumps on the backside, etc. I will keep the one with the flaws, and I hope to find a better one down the road. As for the sound, I have not yet tested it This is hopefully going to work. The following warning should be heeded by the buyer In my opinion, you should never buy from a scalper unless they provide detailed pictures of the exact item you are purchasing. There has also been a complaint about the lack of sound**.
Plays the Super Mario World orchestral music, this cute little Super Nintendo has a great design. To give you an idea of its size, here is one on a real Super Nintendo. My tree is slowly becoming more gaming themed, and I am excited to add this ornament to it.
The market for these items is strong. The music didn't match the theme, however, so I was very disappointed. The battery did not work with any of the batteries I tried. All I have to do now is wait for restock.
Even if I had just seen this ornament, it would have been amazing, but when hearing the music, I just HAD to get it for my brother who is a huge Nintendo fan.
Wow, this is amazing, the quality of the item, sound effects, and details are outstanding.
