On non-porous surfaces, both liquid chalk markers and regular chalk work well. magnetic steel, for example, has porous surfaces. Magnetic steel is used to create the Oak Letters chalkboards. We didn't use chalk paint to test the surface.

The chalk crayons worked, but they were more difficult to see on the board; the markers, on the other hand, worked perfectly! Just make certain they're erasable! I wiped it away with a damp paper towel. br>I like that it comes with a stand and that you can use it in either horizontal or vertical orientation. The only drawback to this product is that it is difficult to use once it has been received. The wooden frame is disintegrating from the board; it's not a big deal; all I have to do now is glue it back together. Aside from that, I think it's fantastic!.
The quality is excellent, and it's ideal for a rustic wedding theme. The sign was made using vinyl letters. I'm really happy with how they turned out, and I'm going to order a few more of these white boards.
A lovely board with a lovely decorative frame. When wiped quickly after use, the chalk marker worked well. When I left it for a day, there was some ghosting. As described, it can be hung vertically or horizontally. Because of the ghosting and the fact that I ordered walnut, I deducted one star. It's labeled walnut on the box. The wood, on the other hand, appears to have been burnt. There isn't a lot of stain on the carpet. It gives it a less expensive appearance. It might work well in a more rustic setting. I'm thinking the white-washed ones would be perfect for a wedding or special occasion. br>I'm returning it because of the ghosting (I plan to change the writing frequently, so the slight ghosting is inconvenient) and the torched look (I only wanted stained walnut). However, it is well-made, and I recommend that you give it a try, depending on your requirements.
It's best to use chalk markers rather than actual chalk, and it's easy to clean up with water or a spritz of Windex. I use it to display my WiFi password so that guests who come over can connect to my network. It's a charming and rustic addition to my home.
It appeals to me. I'd been looking for something similar for a while, and it was even better than I expected for the price. It comes with hanging hardware on the back that can be used to hang it vertically or horizontally. I wasn't expecting it to come with the easel, so that was a pleasant surprise. The chalk pen has a nice, bright color to it. I tried one saying before "erasing" it with a wet paper towel and redoing it. It was simple to remove the graffiti. I'll have to improve my lettering skills, but I'm looking forward to changing it up every week or so! So far, I'm really enjoying it. ❤️.
Buying items that are both natural and non-toxic is a good idea. I'm a big fan of toxic, and this one fits the bill. This chalkboard is made of REAL wood, not MDF like some others I've seen. In addition, the chalk markers are NON-toxic. toxic, as well as WATER-based based. The shape of the frame is a classy and beautiful design, and it comes with a steel easel if you want to stand it up, or you can hang it horizontally or vertically with the sawtooth hooks on the back of the frame, making it very versatile. When it arrived, I noticed the wood frame seemed to be splintering/cracking in one small spot; it wasn't super noticeable, and honestly, I would have kept it if it wasn't for the fact that I will I contacted the seller and received a response the SAME DAY, and the replacement item was sent out with a tracking number the SAME DAY. I'd buy this product again in a heartbeat!.
However, when I contacted Caitlin (as instructed on the enclosed information sheet), she promptly responded, offering a full refund as well as a replacement. She went above and beyond to ensure that the problem was resolved and that the customer was ultimately satisfied. She actually sent me two extra boards to make sure I got one in perfect condition, and she kept in touch with me on a regular basis after the initial manufacturing issue to make sure everything was okay. The new board appears to be well-made, and the frame is attractive; customer service is also excellent.
This chalkboard turned out to be a dud. The item I received appeared to be exactly as shown in the photo, but it was flimsy and the frame was plastic-like. But, more importantly, the chalkboard itself was warping, making writing on it difficult and difficult to clean. I'm not sure if it got wet in transit, but it wasn't nice enough for the price and the purpose for which it was purchased. I gave it back to you.
