These shelves are fantastic. It was very simple to hang them, and I was able to level them by screwing them in one at a time. Place the location on the wall, trace, drill/screw one side in, "swivel" it to level, trace, and drill/screw in the other side; this was the simplest method for me. I adore how sturdy the mount is, how the screw is aligned with the frame, and the wood pattern/colors of the shelves are to die for! I would purchase this item again.

I was extremely disappointed. The shelves are adorable, and I really like them. However, before attempting to install them, I should have read more of the reviews. br>br>The non-stud installation wall anchors that come with the wall are a joke. The anchors kept spinning, making it impossible to tighten the shelves. After I installed them, I gave them a small test tug and the entire assembly, including wall anchors and screws, came crashing down. So now I have two fairly large holes in the wall, as well as an order for a set of proper anchors and screws. The screws are also tapered on the inside of the head, ensuring that they will never be flush. The instructions were a waste of time. As a result, I'm now spending money on drywall repair as well as new anchors. / I like the shelves themselves, but I'm dissatisfied with the hardware and instructions that came with them. How difficult would it have been to offer two options, one with a towel bar and the other without? There are no markings or other means of ensuring that it is installed evenly. br>br>In addition, using an electric screwdriver or a drill screwdriver to complete any of the installation is nearly impossible. Not everyone has the grip strength required to install without the use of a power screwdriver.

I wish the holes had been drilled beforehand. For the towel rack, a hole was drilled. I didn't use it because I didn't have a drill with me. I came to the conclusion that the shelves could be put to several different uses. I put one near the stove in my kitchen to show off my spice jars made from recycled candles. They look great on the counter and are easy to reach while cooking. I decided to use the second shelf in my bathroom to store hand towels and washcloths underneath and display a variety of jar candles on top. I'd recommend these shelves to anyone looking for a little extra storage with a display flair.

These shelves are adequate, but not exceptional.

- The wood doesn't feel finished, and mine splintered a little bit, as others have mentioned. I'm sure a coat of sealer would give it a nice finish (but I was too lazy to do that, haha). )
- The hardware that comes with the shelves is a complete waste of money. When I tried to install the drywall anchors, they all bent and snapped, leaving me with unsightly holes in my drywall for a few days while I waited for an Amazon order of a drywall anchor kit to arrive. I had no trouble hanging them up with the anchors I ordered, so it was only a minor annoyance.
- The towel bar is missing, but this isn't a major issue. The part that irritates me is that there aren't any pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the shelf where you can screw in the tower bar. Drilled or even marked is a term used to describe the process of drilling or marking It's simply a matter of lining it up and guessing whether it's in the right place. The instructions were not very helpful in terms of placement. To be honest, the towel bar isn't necessary in the first place. br>br>Once you've gotten past the annoyances and placed them where you want them, they'll look fantastic. So, if you think you'll be able to handle everything, go ahead and get them. They're inexpensive and will look great in any setting. (If you don't want a splinter, don't run your hand over the wood!).

I bought two sets of shelves, one with dark wood and the other with lighter wood. I used the dark wood ones as a spice rack in the kitchen. I used to keep my spices on a "lazy Susan" on my counter, but I needed to free up some space. I also wanted my spices to be easy to find because I use them almost every day in my cooking. I'm really pleased with how it turned out! br>br>I haven't put up the lighter colored shelves yet because I'm still deciding where I want to hang them and what I want to do with them, but the other reviewers on this product have come up with some fantastic ideas!br>br>They were also simple to install. Because I have a drill, I'm sure it made things easier.

These shelves look nice and are relatively sturdy, but they have a lot of flaws. Most of them aren't deal breakers, but I'm regretting buying them all together. The biggest issue is that the wood is completely unfinished (unsanded and without sealant), which means it will warp over time if it's in a moist environment like a bathroom or even parts of your kitchen. You'll need to use a sealant or oil, which is an extra step that can be annoying. They need to improve their quality control. br>br> The bars on the sides are a little off-kilter. It has an annoying angle that isn't a deal breaker. Buyer beware, as it appears that this does not happen to everyone. br>br>They're relatively simple to set up, but there are a few drawbacks. The shelf comes with some anchors in case you want to install it into drywall, but they're flimsy and don't hold up very well—you should definitely buy some better ones yourself (they're only $2-$3). There are also no markings for where the towel bar should be placed. You'll have to take your own measurements and/or guesses. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these if you're looking for a quick and easy way to add extra storage. And I definitely don't recommend them if you're looking for something to put in your bathroom! Look for something with wood that has been treated properly.
