Do you have any idea how much your PS4 weighs? With longer screws in the wall, the shelves will be able to support more weight. Please give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Hello, br>br>We do not recommend hanging the shelf with command Velcro strips because it will be unstable when items are placed on it. It's best if you use screws and anchors (included) to mount the shelf to the wall. I really like how these shelves turned out once they were put up. The installation, as written, was extremely poor; the anchors that came with the shelves quickly fell out of the wall and failed to hold the shelf in place once something was placed on it. Because the brackets are wider than the average stud spacing, they can only be used in dry wall, which is inconvenient. Instead, we drilled new holes in the shelves to ensure that they were perfectly mounted into studs, and they have remained stable since then! I recommend locating the studs and drilling new holes in the shelf to avoid using the anchors; I wouldn't even bother with the installation instructions that came with it.
It is simple to follow the instructions. Because I installed the shelves on drywall, I was grateful that wall anchors were included. br>br>I imagined the shelves as a series of steps leading up to a higher surface for the cat; That is exactly what they accomplished!.
It was precisely what I required and desired. I like these so much that I'm going to buy them again. Did I mention how simple they are to put together and hang on the wall?.
It was very simple to set up. They're well-made and attractive, and they're a good investment.
We had to pull the anchors back through the wall because they had pushed through the wall while we were screwing them in, leaving large holes. Fortunately, we had other anchors that were large enough to fit the holes while still working with the included screws. br>br>Because the instructions make the mounting process a little more complicated than it needs to be, I first mounted the bracket to the shelf, then held it against the wall with a level on top, and then marked the holes for the bracket. That way, I could be sure they were at the right height and distance. br>br>Edited to add: we loved them so much that we purchased a second set for my craft supplies!.
TLDR; Anchors that are inexpensive but durable and appealing to the eye. br>br>I purchased this shelf to go above my washing machine. dryer. Shelf was delivered quickly and in good condition, with clear instructions. During the installation of the shelf, two of the anchors that came with it snapped in half. They should include sturdier anchors, such as metal ones, with the shelf, as I had to purchase anchors from Home Depot in order to put it together. I piled as much stuff on the shelf as I could to see how sturdy it was and how much weight it could support once it was up. I was impressed because I was able to fit all of my detergent as well as a few other items on it. Overall, I would recommend this shelf to anyone in the market for one; however, you should also purchase wall anchors.
They arrived in two days and were nearly perfect, with the exception of a minor chip here and there that was not visible when hung. I've only had them up for a day, so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but they look good and seem to be fairly durable. Although the installation instructions were a little confusing, my fiancé was able to put them up without difficulty.
If it weren't for the fact that the top hole on each of the brackets is completely inaccessible due to the angle of the diagonal bar running in front of the hole, these would have been incredible. I'm giving them one star because I just scratched and dented my walls while attempting to drill the top hole into place. Because my drill couldn't reach the hole, I had to disassemble the brackets from the shelves and turn them sideways to get to it. In the process of trying to drill it in at such a sharp angle, I completely stripped one of the screws, and I'm now on my way to the hardware store to figure out how to get it out of my wall. I'm almost in tears with frustration, which is a shame because they would have been very simple to put together and look great if they hadn't been so difficult.
