Pine from the Carpathian Mountains is used. Our workshop is in Khyriv, Ukraine, and each shelf is handcrafted with a wax coating rather than varnish.
"How tall/high" is a term I'm not sure I understand. The shelves are 16 x 6 inches long, 16 x 6 inches wide, and 16 x 6 inches high, as described in the product specifications. 7 x 1. 2 inches

The shelf's quality is excellent, and it's great to finally find one that isn't two feet wide. It also perfectly fits our space. br>br>The screws used to secure the mount on the shelves are my only gripe. Throw them out and go to a hardware store to get some drywall anchors and washers. Using the springs on the bolts was inconvenient and, to begin with, a poor design. Everything went smoothly as soon as I switched to the drywall anchors.
This is not an exaggeration. Stop right here on Amazon if you're looking for floating shelves. They've been discovered by you. These floating shelves aren't just the best on Amazon; they're also possibly the best floating shelves ever made. They have the following assets:
- Each shelf is solid wood with a lovely piney smell, hollowed out only where the mounting brackets go. br>- said mounting brackets can be adjusted in three different ways to achieve ideal alignmentbr>- They come with friendly, clear installation instructions and hints, as well as a really nice hand-written thank-you notebr>br>I purchased four of these to set up display shelves for our Native American and Asian curio collection. They worked out beautifully, as you can see in the photo. Because I liked these so much, I found myself wishing I had more places where I could put floating shelves. However, a word of caution: Floating shelves are more difficult to install than, say, track-mounted shelves. Shelves that are mounted. Getting them level, spaced correctly, and secured to the drywall, in particular, will take more time and effort than you think, and will necessitate some prior experience with a level, t-square, and other similar tools. If you've never put up shelves or done other carpentry projects, a floating shelf is probably not the place to start. br>br>If there's one thing I could ask for with these, it's a few more length options. They are, however, perfect in every other way.
The shelves are well-made and attractive. They were fantastic. I should have just used the anchors that came with the unit instead of the ones we normally use, but everything was so well packaged and looked so nice. This was the point at which I began to question my existence and why we needed such obnoxious bathroom shelves. Shelves are nice again, but the anchors should be thrown out. What a pain to use, and I still don't think they're holding up as well as they should. This product receives a five-star rating, with the exception of the anchors, which receive a negative five-star rating.
I was blown away by the attention to detail in the packaging and the overall quality. All necessary hardware (including screws in case you hit a stud), a scratch-resistant sheet between shelves, a detailed instruction manual, and a handwritten note from the seller were all included inside the box. That was a really nice and unexpected touch! Their business even provides videos to help with installation. I would highly recommend this product and company, and I would place another order with them. My only suggestion is that more sizes be made available, but I am very pleased with my purchase overall.
For my bathroom remodel, I looked all over the internet for shelves. Nothing like these can be found anywhere else on the internet! They were put up by my father, who said they were well-made and durable. (Hanging these will necessitate the assistance of someone who knows what they're doing. ) br>They were well worth the money. The wood grain is beautiful, and I love the thickness and depth of the shelves. It arrived on time and was packaged very well with a handwritten note inside. I haven't finished decorating them yet, but I did take a quick photo of them in my bathroom.
I installed them in my bathroom and have no idea how I survived without them. They're great for extra storage that's easy to get to and doesn't take up too much space. I looked at a lot of different brands before deciding on these, and I'm glad I did. They're made of solid wood and have a moisture-resistant stain, which is crucial in a humid bathroom. When it comes to brands, you must exercise extreme caution. Formaldehyde is found in a lot of them. When formaldehyde is exposed to a humid environment, it becomes even more dangerous. It's a good thing these aren't made of plastic. Other shelves that I've installed in the past have proven to be far more difficult than these. It was really nice to see the sellers include a handwritten thank you note. They are a small family-owned business that values its clients. I couldn't be happier with the price for the quality!.
The instructions are excellent, and there is even a handwritten note thanking you for your purchase included. This is without a doubt one of the best Amazon purchases I've made, and I intend to make more. If you look up these shelves online, you'll notice that you'll need a 3/8 drill bit to install the toggle bolts. Because that is a large hole, you will need to repair it if you remove them. But I believe it is well worth it to have a shelf that does not lean, is level, and does not appear to be pulling away from the wall. I like the way it looks, and most importantly, so does my wife.
It was surprisingly simple to hang the shelves after reading the instructions and watching a video on how to do so. Finding the hollow spots behind the drywall to use the toggle bolts was the most time-consuming part. If you go that route, they also include wall stud screws (which I couldn't do because my situation had metal plating protecting the electrical). Overall, I think these shelves are very reasonably priced and well-made, as well as sturdy and simple to hang. Purchase them as soon as possible. It will not be a mistake!.
