That's what I believe. I've got a sizable collection of books. I use this as a display because it is a heavy cutting board with custom engraving on the back. br>I have small clear rubber "dots" that I placed on the bottom to make it even more non-slip. stable, slip

Because these will most likely spend their lives in a drawer, it's nice that they fold up to take up less space when not in use. Tupperware bowls would look great on display. If you have a bowl worth displaying (for collectible or sentimental reasons), it deserves a higher-quality stand than these.
There's nothing to keep these from sliding and closing, so whatever you're trying to show will be lost. To prevent them from sliding, they require rubber stops. They're appealing and affordable; however, I wouldn't use them for anything heavy.
These stands were delivered in good condition, but the design is flawed. Any amount of weight causes the legs to collapse and the entire stand to become extremely unstable. I tried to hold a small picture frame with the largest size, but it couldn't stay upright and kept falling over. These might work for smaller items like plates, but I wouldn't put my faith in the legs staying open. I returned mine and will seek out a more suitable replacement.
Because these were packaged in bags and then thrown into the delivery box, one was bound to break. Why aren't they packaged in small boxes rather than bags by the manufacturer? They won't get tangled up in each other this way, either. They appear to be decent stands, and I like the design, but I'm worried that if I order more, one of them will break. I believe it is too dangerous; even though they are inexpensive, I do not want them to be broken.
I received exactly what I had paid for once more. First, instead of the six stands that were advertised and paid for, I only received five. Second, I tried two different plates on the large stands, and they slid down within the stand, essentially closing it by pulling the legs together. if you understand what I'm saying! My plates aren't collectibles by any means, but I'd like to know that they're protected from breakage when displayed, and these don't meet that requirement. Return!.
They have a good weight to them and aren't at all flimsy. I used three of them right away, each in a different size, the largest of which took on the weight and size of a heavy ceramic heart dish, allowing me to display it properly. They open with just the right amount of tightness after folding flat. I'm ecstatic and grateful.
On my kitchen counter, I bought these to hold a decorative plate and platter. It was convenient that there were three sizes available. That was the only aspect of the movie that I enjoyed. The holders are a little flimsy, and it's difficult to keep the stand 'open' when something is placed on it. When I tried to pry it open any further, it snapped. The teeny-tiny one is my favorite; it perfectly holds my phone. However, for the same amount of money, I could have purchased a cell phone holder.
A portion of the black metal on several of the holders had been scraped off when they arrived. They're very low-cost and flimsy. Don't squander your time or money on this.
