I bought one of these for my brother for Christmas from another catalog company, and he loved it so much that I decided to order another, but they were all sold out. I went to Amazon and, of course, it was available. I placed an order and got it today. This isn't the same level of excellence. It has rough patches on one side, and the base on one side shows where they glued it to the top. It's just shabby in comparison to my other purchase.
There's also a special write-up about the business. I adore the fact that they're made by hand. It doesn't take up a lot of room, so you won't have to worry about it crowding your nightstand. I ordered two. I have one. one for my husband (I'd be thrilled to see a Mr. (This is the Mrs. Potatohead version. ) I was concerned that they would be unstable, but they aren't. They're not only light, but they're also well-made. With a solid foundation, it's well-balanced. The natural wood would look great in any setting. Enjoy!.
I thought it would be helpful to have a place where he could keep track of his glasses, but it turned into a chore and project for him rather than something he could use. This is a cute idea, but it isn't appropriate for my husband's table.
This was a ridiculous Father's Day present, and it's hilarious. My daughter and I put it through its paces before wrapping it, and we couldn't stop laughing when we put the glasses on. We also made up our own "dad joke" - "They're on your face!" we tell her father when he asks about his glasses. " It's also sturdy while remaining light in weight. I'm very pleased.
Because the head (which is glued) was separated from the base when it arrived, I deducted a star. I was able to reattach it to the base with glue, and it now functions properly and looks adorable. It makes a fun and unique reading glasses holder.
This, however, is not the case. Unfortunately, there are two major issues. For starters, the bottom isn't flat, so it doesn't sit perfectly straight. Second, the eyeglass arm slot is far too small to accommodate any prescription glasses. As a result, I'm only using it for decoration and had to fudge the bottom with some padding to get it level.
This eyeglass stand is adorable and stylish, with excellent craftsmanship. It's just too small for me. I didn't double-check the measurements before purchasing, and the displayed picture made it appear larger. But it's cute, and it's big enough to fit my glasses in.
I bought this to keep my glasses safe on my nightstand, as I didn't want them to fall off or get scratched. It's ideal for this purpose and makes for a fun little conversation starter.
