A Blu- I tried a blu-ray box but it was too wide for the channel. ray just to see if it works, gravity will keep it in place if you rest it correctly. It's not because it's the right size, though.
3/4" wide x 2" long At the base, it's 7/8" deep x 2-inches wide. 1/4" in height.
The slot is about 3/8 inch wide, and a CD jewel case fits snugly in mine. This stand isn't built for CD cases, in my opinion.

It appears to be attractive, but I listen to a lot of double albums, which will not fit into this holder.
The craftsmanship on this item was lacking, despite the fact that it should have been simple to make. There's a spot near the end where the stain isn't uniform, and it looks awful. Also, the dado cut for the slot is not uniform, indicating that it was made by someone who does not have a good understanding of how to use a table saw. This item has a great concept, but it's poorly executed. The product "as received" is depicted in the photos. "br>br>Recently updated: Since then, I've received a replacement product, which is much better in terms of finish and construction. The company's customer service department contacted me first and quickly resolved the issue. The star rating has been changed from one to three.
It's for LPs, and it's for double-albums. LP's. It is not advised for long-term use. It's a simple yet beautiful design, with a "less is more" aesthetic, and it works perfectly as a "now playing" stand, as warping could be an issue. The wood grain is intriguing, but it is unpredictably distributed. (After all, it's human nature. ) ) The light wood can be easily painted or stained to suit your taste, and it weighs in at under four ounces and is compact; see my video review for a complete review.
It's a simple, small design that shows the record sleeve at a good angle (a slight backwards lean). This stand can also show off a sleeve with the record still inside, or a double LP while the other is playing. However, keeping a double LP on display while both records are still in their sleeves becomes a little wobbly. br>br>As I previously stated, I use this to display the record I'm currently listening to, so the record sleeve on display changes frequently, and when I'm not listening to anything, the record goes back on the shelf. If you're looking for a stand to hold a double LP, this is the place to be. In the long run, I'd get a bigger stand, but for now, this is fine and doesn't take up much space when I'm not using my turntable. br>br>I wanted the stand to blend in even more, so I colored it in with a heavy black art marker. It appears to be in good shape.
My only criticism is that it is very light and, as a result, not very durable. As a result, I simply changed my approach to using it with greater caution.
I was drawn in by the product's low price and the fact that it came in a nice white (giftable) box and that the item itself has a stylish wood finish. You don't see it being used to prop up a record on a counter surface very often. It's essentially a 2 x 4 stained and finished with a notch. It is 3 7/8" wide, 3" deep, and 2 5/8" tall. I've seen a lot wider ones made of hard wood for a lot more money, but why bother for the purpose of supporting a 45 or LP? It works.
For a long time, I've been looking for a stand to hold my records while I spin them, and I like how this one is both affordable and functional. It appears to be well-built; I'll update it once I've added more albums to it. As shown, it can fit a double LP. That's a good thing. My only criticism is that it is not stained or finished; I will most likely stain it, but other than that, it is a fantastic value for money product. Would suggest.
It almost appears as if the record sleeve is standing on its own, which is exactly what I wanted. The only thing I would change is to make the slot a little larger so that gatefold covers can be accommodated more easily. They don't always sit well and can't lean back far enough to stay upright without tipping forward, but I've only had this problem with a couple of gatefold albums. I use it to hold the cover of the album I'm currently listening to as a "now playing" stand. Even without a record, it looks nice.
