To be honest, I enjoy staring at it on my bathroom vanity while wearing my glasses. It merely appears to be amusing. makes me laugh br>br>I bought this to use with my blow dryer to air dry my glasses after cleaning them with dishwashing liquid. It actually works quite well for that, as it prevents my hands from becoming too hot from the air dryer. br>br>I only gave it one star because I forgot to take off my glasses for the entire weekend. The glasses were simply placed on top of the glasses when they arrived. It was left cold on there. That weekend, I never used the air dryer to warm up my glasses. br>br>All of this is to say that when I left my glasses on for the weekend; I put my spectacles on Monday morning. From sitting on this tiny holder, they were all wrung out. As a result, I needed to warm up my spectacles. So they wouldn't be crooked on my face, I had to straighten them out. br>br>It's a good product for the purpose I purchased it, and it's entertaining. It makes me happy, but I wouldn't leave your glasses in the holder for too long because it warped mine. Unfortunately, that is the product's sole purpose.
My order was delivered quickly, but the product was skewed. Attached is a photo. You can see how it aligns with the window frame (or does not). Although the construction is not flimsy, it does not appear to be well-made. The finish is also a lot duller than the photos in the product description suggest, and mine was a little dusty when it arrived. It still holds the glasses at the end of the day, but it appears to be a little wonky. So, if you're looking for consistency and attention to detail, this falls short.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my boss, who is notorious for misplacing his glasses. Needless to say, he was overjoyed and amused by this unusual present. It has a length of 2. The size is 5" x 6" and the quality is average. My main concern was receiving one with flaws such as cracks, mold, or other irregularities. The wood was rough in a few places and the finish was dull, but there was no mold, as other reviewers had claimed. I used Beeswax to polish it, which greatly improved its appearance. The packaging is unappealing, and I was embarrassed to wrap it in its original box. br>br>It's a cute novelty item, but the seller should redesign a more durable packaging box worthy of gifting, as well as a better storage facility to keep the product in good condition.
I thought it would be small, but not this small! The back slot could be used for children's glasses or temples that are extremely thin and pliable. I couldn't get it to work for me.
Even in the dark, it was simple to put my glasses on. br>The only reason it didn't get five stars is because it leans to the left a little bit when it was made, rather than being mostly straight up and down. I'm the oilier on this in other photos I've seen, and most of them appear to be straight, so it wouldn't deter me from purchasing it. Plus, it's still one of my favorites!.
I gave it three stars because the product I received was dusty and I'm fairly certain it wasn't brand new. Even the packaging it came in was shabby. I wouldn't be surprised if the seller had it on hand and sold it on the spur of the moment. I bought this as a gift, so I tried to make it look nicer by gently cleaning it with wood polish, but some paint came off the statue's "bridge. " Although it wasn't bad, I was still hesitant to give it as a gift. My recommendation is to look for other sellers on Amazon who are selling the exact same product for around the same price, and to buy from them instead.
I purchased two of them at the same time. One is for my nightstand, while the other is for my wife's. Only one had rough patches or wood shavings hanging off because of the sloppy glue that held the face to the base. Overall, they appear to be good, and I don't expect many people to pick them up off our nightstands to examine every detail. My only other piece of advice is to keep in mind that your glasses might not sit as comfortably on your nose as they do in the photo. Because my glasses are a little looser than my wife's, they sit as low as the back slot will allow. The seats in my wife's car are quite high.
My cat likes to knock them over, or I'll try to turn off the alarm by accident. Now that I have this holder, I never have to wonder where my glasses are. Since they have a cute and convenient home, I haven't misplaced them nearly as much! When my boyfriend visits, he now uses it as well. I wouldn't recommend stacking two glasses on top of each other, but it does the trick. br>br>Wishing you good luck with your purchases! If this review has aided you, please give it a thumbs up!.
