The ashtray is a good size. The glass is thick but does not appear to be tempered, so as long as you don't drop it or hit it with a hard object while cleaning it, it should last a lifetime. One common complaint in reviews is that one or both of the glasses arrive broken. Mine arrived undamaged, but I can see how this could happen if your package is handled carelessly. When the seller packages these, each ashtray is packaged separately in its own box, and the two boxes are bubble wrapped together with no cushion between them. Between the two boxes, one layer of bubble wrap would protect it from careless people better. This is merely an idea. br>Another common (but not all-too-common) complaint is that the ashtray does not match the advertised size. I ordered the 8x8 ashtrays, and they were delivered to me in that size. br>Buy with confidence, as the product performs as expected in my experience.
The ashtray's best features are its clear glass, heavy weight, and suitability for cigarettes. The width of the holder sections is difficult to discern in the photo, but I took a chance. If you like your cigars to rest on the ash, it's not for you. I'll be back because my husband prefers the genuine cigar ashtrays with wide holders. In every other way, it's a pleasant experience. br>It arrived on time and in excellent condition. Thank you in any case.
I've never done anything like this before, and I'm not going to start now I don't consume any tobacco products. I've never done it before, and I'm not planning on doing it now. But I needed some glass Studio Monitor/Speaker stands to go with my new glass iMac stand. And studio monitor/speaker stands made of glass were extremely expensive. As a result, I begin my search for a more cost-effective alternative. Glass ashtrays come to mind as a friendly alternative; So I measured my Studio Monitor/Speaker pads and entered those measurements into the search bar, and these amazing 8'x8' crystal glass ashtrays appeared, which are perfect. So, with eight four-foot candlestick holders and two beautiful eight-foot-by-eight-foot crystal glass ashtrays, I embarked on a do-it-yourself project. I built two monitor/speaker stands for the studio. They also complement my Home Studio Setup nicely. I'm extremely happy.
The glass is substantial in thickness and weight. It was very simple to clean and add, and the sticker came off easily. The glass pattern gives it a more expensive appearance than it actually is. There are four places to put your cigarette.
These ashtrays are ideal for leaving on the deck when the weather is bad and the wind is howling. Last year, I paid a lot of money for a Marble ashtray, which broke in half after only a few months. These are appealing, large enough to hold cigars, and can accommodate multiple smokers. I put a couple of cigarette snuffers in one so that cigarettes aren't thrown away just because someone needed to take a few minutes off. There is plenty of room. A nice heavy glass ashtray is the best ashtray you can get.
I just got my two 8" X 8" Ashtrays in the mail. They're just over 8" tall, at 8 1/8", and have a depth of about a foot. 1". The wall has a slight ridge where the sides meet the bottom of the inside of the tray, giving it a tapered feel, going from about 3/4" to about 1" depth at the bottom of the tray. br>br>They appear to be of good quality, with no scratches, cracks, or flaws when they arrived. At $12, they ARE VALUE FOR MONEY. 00- $14. 00, when compared to other Ashtrays of the same size on the market. BUT. I gave them a three-star rating because I purchased them specifically for cigars. br>br>The reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is that there are only four "fingers" or slots (one on each of the four sides), and they're all quite small. They're big enough to hold a cigarette, but that's about it. br>br>I bought these as a present for a cigar smoker, and while I'm sure they'll do the job, they're not ideal. If you prefer, you can rest a cigar against the side wall and have it in the ashtray, or you can rest it on the corners, depending on the gage. br>br>In conclusion, I like the ashtrays; they are sturdy and attractive; however, I wish the slots were wider so that a cigar could be rested without the lit end of the cigar resting inside the ashtray.
My husband smokes, so I bought him a decorative, one-of-a-kind ashtray to match the rest of the decor. The end table, however, was always covered in ashes. To avoid this, I decided to seek out the largest astray I could find. This ashtray is 7" square and made of glass. It's very nice, and it's quite heavy, despite the fact that it appears to be made of crystal He adores it because he no longer has to juggle his cigarettes in the ashtray! If you're looking for a really nice ashtray, this is the one to get. It's also a good size for a center piece. However, it was ideal for my requirements. Bought 2.
I'm not what you'd call a "smoker," but I've been known to puff on the occasional cigar. This heavy, attractive ash tray serves as both a functional and decorative item, and is a true throwback to a simpler time. The only reason for the 4-star rating is because The only drawback to the ease of cleaning is that the sticker that came with it was extremely difficult to remove.
