Questions & Answers

Is it possible to include any of the orthodox "apocryphal" books — 1 thanks. ?

That is not the case.

Is it possible to include any of the orthodox "apocryphal" books — 1 thanks. ?

That is not the case.

What books are included in the Catholic section?

Tobit's and Judith's books have been lost.

Are there any tabs that haven't been used yet? I'd like a set of blank tabs for my Didache bible's reference sections. ?

There aren't any empty spaces. I went out and bought some small index tabs. They don't have gold edging, but they still function well.

Complete Bible indexing tabs (including Deuterocanonicals), but deceptive and biased marketing The product itself was exactly what I had hoped for and performed admirably
3/5

What I don't like about the marketing is when it says: Old & Books from the Catholic Church, as well as the New Testament. br>At the very least, I'm expecting marketing to say: Old & Deuterocanonical (not even Apocrypha) period with the New Testament! This is ridiculous! br>br> as well as a skewed perspective! The deuterocanonical books should not be referred to as "plus catholic books. " "We" Catholics did not "add" books to the Bible, nor are we to be referred to as "Catholics," because those books were removed, and as far as I can tell, with an incorrect bias argument: They are not mentioned in the "Jews" section of the Bible. br>I'll even give you some background information: After Christianity split from the Jews, they decided on their canon of books, not before. The Greek language was used in the creation of the New Testament. After that, Jews decided that only Bible books written in Hebrew were valid, and seven sacred books were removed. Ironically, some of those books (such as Sirach) were discovered in Hebrew by some archeologists centuries later, implying that even if it was a bad decision, the originals were only lost. New reformed Christians who did not believe in the Church's authority erred by relying on the Jews' already erroneous decision to remove those books. br>br>Funny enough, some bible books, such as John's letters, were once known as Catholics, but they are now included in the Protestant Bible. John was also one of the gospels that was almost removed from the canon by the Church because it was considered "too gnostic," but thanks to God, it was eventually decided to be a sacred book, and this gospel is also included in the reformed Church. There are other true apocrypha books that are not considered sacred by the Catholic Church or reformers, such as the Gospel of Thomas, which is not a true gospel but rather a collection of Jesus' sayings, some of which were even used by the gospel writers.

It is simple to use
5/5

These were incredibly simple to apply, and I was able to re-apply them when one or two went on crookedly. Within a minute of putting it on, you should be able to put it in place. The bible still fits perfectly in the fabric carrier I have for it because they only rise 1/4 inch. Look at the image. It appears to be fantastic and is extremely useful. After trying another brand, I've decided that Tabbies is far superior. Tip: If you use these on a bible with thin pages, make sure you only apply them to one page at a time, or you'll end up with two pages stuck together where the tabbie is holding on. I double-checked each one as I went through the application process and found no issues. It's simply something to keep in mind.

Worth it
4/5

I like how different colors are used for different book sections. I agree with the reviewer's assessment of the film's delicate nature. Remove the tabs from the sheet with extreme caution. I like that there's a tab positioning guide because I'd go insane trying to align them evenly with a ruler and wouldn't be able to sleep if they weren't. For those of you scratching your heads and wondering why there are only 71 tabs for 73 books, here's your answer. After ten minutes of rattling off all the books and checking tabs, I discovered that Johns 1, 2, and 3 are all on the same tab, labeled 1-. 3 John. My set also included Jude and Revelation.

Let's start with the most recent: It appeals to me
5/5

I was given a guide to help me place them, but I didn't like how they overlapped, and my Bible is large enough to allow for some space between tabs. What I did was begin the New Testament with the last book. Then I'd flip to the first page of the Old Testament and paste the back end first, so I could see where the previous tab was and maintain my desired distance. br>br>Best of luck! <3.

Gold edging on the tabs adds a touch of refinement
4/5

These are excellent tabs that are simple to work with. I was a little apprehensive at first, but the instructions were clear, and I tried the practice tabs. I had one minor tear until I realized it was better to separate a row first, then peel each one from the middle section where the print is, and I never had another tear. To help me see the edge of the page I was working on while attaching the tab and to avoid picking up a second page, I placed a solid color gift card behind the edge of the page I was working on. It's simple once you get the hang of it, but take your time with 1 and 2 Maccabees because the tab order was off. I gave it four stars because the tabs are too delicate and I wish there were some blank tabs. An apologetic index, a map index, and a glossary are all included in my Didache Bible. I actually disassembled two unused tabs, changed the titles, reassembled them, and put them to use. I used the bible dict tab to create the glossary. Overall, these tabs are lovely. The pages have a gold edge that matches the gold edge tabs, which you can't see in the photo. I would definitely buy from them again.

Installing it was a breeze
5/5

They look fantastic and perform flawlessly.   These tabs function flawlessly, but they are a pain to set up. Because there are so many books in the Bible that you need to keep track of, you'll need at least an hour. br>With the included template, getting the spacing just right is a breeze. br>If you take your time, you'll be pleased with the results. These look fantastic, and I've already told others at my church about them.

The Tabbies of the Past are no longer with us
3/5

I'm not the first person to use Tabbies to store my Bibles. I was always pleased with Tabbies in the past, which is why I returned to the product. I usually get the gold or silver varieties (which always match the bible), but I chose the rainbow option for a journaling Bible. br>br>The rainbow version was not cut correctly, making peeling a challenge. Also, something about the adhesive quality made me wonder if they were old or if there had been a serious manufacturing error.

It would be an understatement to say that I was disappointed
3/5

Extremely disappointed is an understatement when it comes to my feelings about these tabs. I was very pleased with the gold edge tabs I purchased from the same company. It was a mistake to assume that all of the rainbow tabs were of equal quality. The adhesive edges ripped, the printing was splotchy, the tabs were crooked, and the front and back of the card were not aligned. It's the unfortunate part. For my kids' youth bibles, I purchased three packages. The price would be great if the tabs were of good quality, but they aren't, so the price is way too high! Avoid the rainbow tabs! The same company also makes fantastic catholic tabs with gold edges.
