That's a great piece, I love it! One of mine has a tiny hole that is not Described as rustic primitive, it is intended to evoke a sense of rustic charm. I don't think it is for anyone who wants perfection. I almost feel like velvet when I touch the wood. My vase is filled with blossoms of blue hydrangeas. Making a statement like this is definitely worth the effort.
Knots and imperfections in the wood do come with it and I deducted a star because of this, but that also wasn't surprising -- As the description and picture both warn of that, so does the text. In my opinion, it was a good deal for the price. In my case, I used it for decoration. Because mine have knots at the bottom, I can cover them with the contents of the bowl.
