It is very light and does not weigh The result is that the product is extremely.
(The first one I bought would die about once a month (Energizer batteries that worked perfectly in every other clock that I own except this one) but when I bought this new one as a "second chance" for this company, I realized that it was a complete piece of junk. Within a few minutes the temperature sensor started melting after I put two brand new AAA batteries in the sensor. I then put the AA batteries in the clock (in the order suggested) and within several minutes the clock stopped working. I didn't even have a problem with my batteries, they were fine. But my sensor was melted. The pictures depict what you need to know. In the first one, I am holding it before I open As I cracked open the container, I saw that it had melted.
Although there are other negative reviews, we thought we would take a chance. The clock can tell the inside temperature twice, so if you are looking for a thermometer that can do this, this is it. As reported in the other reviews, we wanted to make sure the outdoor sensor was working before taking it outside, so we let it stay on our coffee table until it was Our alarm clock showed the same temp for both inside and outside, so we decided to move the outside sender outdoors. We started off by moving it about 20 feet away from where the old one used to be near our front door. Despite numerous attempts, the signal never came through. There's a possibility that the batteries were malfunctioning. Our solution was to go to CVS and purchase two AAA batteries, store it in the house for a couple minutes until it synchronized again, and then move it outside. This time, we tried putting it closer to the ground. Our blinds are open and we can see them clearly from right in front of us, 14 feet away. received any signal from outside we were never able to make the outside thermometer work once it was outside however, it worked inside as long as it was in the same room as it was set up. As far as we know, we did not take the clock outside to see if it would work without a wall for it to mount on There are two relays one between the sender and one between.
The vender could not make it work. It appears La Crosse Technology cannot be relied upon to resolve the issue with the outside gauge by finally identifying the problem with the gauge, sending a replacement, and then spending more time adjusting, watching, waiting, etc. Our first call to La Cross Technology and explanation prompted them to tell us to return it to Amazon for a refund since Amazon was their supplier. By now, there's no way Amazon can take that back, so of course all is well between Amazon and La Cross! I think Amazon and La Cross are getting a good deal. Consumption is a loser for the consumer. The China, La Cross, and Amazon reviews all received five stars! This is a great Thank you for your kind words, Diane I’m a rod.
There aren't many bargains like this one at this price. During the transmission process, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) radio signals are used to maintain accuracy of the clock. A TIME SETTING CHECK is performed every 24 hours by the clock When the clock is set to Daylight Saving Time, the clock will automatically transition from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time and back. Aside from showing the time (selectable 12 or 24 hour format), it also displays the date, the day, the indoor temperature and the outdoor temperature, courtesy of a remote sensor. You must make sure that when you change the clock's batteries, you ALSO install (or reinstall) the batteries in the remote sensor first. the batteries are not installed in this order, the clock will not be able to read the data from the remote sensor. Please note The remote sensor can be used for a variety of purposes outside of monitoring outdoor temperatures. One of my friends collects and stores wine in his wine cellar. He uses a remote sensor.
(I bought my dad a station for Christmas in December, but his is on a completely different frequency than the two I just bought. It took a week for one of the clocks to run. A blank temperature readout appeared after buying at the same time as the thermometer. In just a few seconds, both sensors began to read independently once I put batteries in the second sensor. I got it connected for a few days, then it mysteriously connected to the sensor I bought in December and started working again. It's a difficult question for me to answer. The temperature display does not work if you put batteries in the sensor first, but when you poke a straightened paper clip inside the reset hole, it works fine. My sensors aren't close together, which could explain the signals jumping from sensor to sensor.
