It was disappointing
3/5

The pro is I've got it working. *p>
CON I find the display to be On the clock face, it is easy to distinguish the segment that is unlit. A large portion of the display can be viewed from both directions. If the characters are to be visible on the clock face, they have to be viewed at a perpendicular angle. • In bright light, the display is completely washed out. A few atomic clocks and weather stations have been owned by me. Neither I nor anyone I know has ever faced this issue. It always had a silvery reflector on the face of my atomic clocks. A dull grey/tan face can be seen on this clock. Perhaps design won over functionality in this case. It depends on where you place this clock if you think it will work for you. In spite of the fact that it met all of my requirements for size and design, if I knew about these defects I would not have purchased this unit.

I CANNOT FINISH THE THREE WEEKS AROUND THE BATTERY! The batteries in this clock had to be replaced in December after we bought it in November
3/5

The batteries were replaced again in January, this time with a different brand of batteries, and we recorded the date to be sure that our observation was correct. This group of talks took place from the first week of February until the first week of March. Our mistake was not returning it then instead of replacing the batteries with a different brand, and writing down the date then. A dim display once again appeared at the end of the month. We had already reached the end of our warranty. As a result, we contacted Amazon and they graciously allowed us to return it and issued a refund.

The device consumes batteries at the rate of a dozen
3/5

A month after ordering one of these units, it ate through the batteries. It was the second one we got when we returned. I have the same In our letter, we asked the president of the company for information about the company. I did not hear back from them. I guess they don't give a damn. were to choose this plan, you would have to buy two dozen batteries and make a dozen trips up and down the ladder over a.

Take the reviews that are negative seriously
3/5

There is nothing worse than a dead battery. It was a gamble I took on this item and I didn't pay attention to reports of short battery life. I should have done so. It takes two weeks for a battery to discharge. My return window expired as well, so I missed it. The bottom line is that. I would stay away from it.

This is a better model than the older ones
5/5

In place of my older La Crosse clock, this one is new. It lost its remote transmitter after it It has a larger display of all important readings, is much easier to set up, has all push-button controls, and it is much easier to operate than previous designs The top edge of the button has buttons lined up On newer models, the back is now used instead of the back. To the best of my knowledge, it works and is updating by itself regularly when "Atomic" is selected. It is just hoped that the outside remote transmitter will last longer than the two I've had so far.

A distance makes it a bit difficult to read digital characters
4/5

In the clock's case, the dial relocked quickly to WWVB however, the digits are difficult to read because the frame is barely separating the black numerals from the black clock face. In the future, La Crosse should expand the LCD area up to the clock's border and eliminate the faux-navigation buttons The panels on the side are made of wood. The indoor and outdoor temperatures differed by one degree Fahrenheit after many hours of stabilization time with the outdoor temperature sensor as close to the clock as possible. As a matter of fact, I find that error to be acceptable. There was a previous La Crosse of the same style that broke a few LCD segments after many years, then the time froze at 0830. This La Crosse replaced that La Crosse. Comparing this clock with the prior LCD clock which used three cells, I appreciate the fact that this clock only uses two. It would be nice if this one lasted as long as that one.

You should not buy it
3/5

Every six weeks, it loses power due to the battery. A brief update This was purchased in June of last year. This is the first time I have found out it is not working. have tried putting brand new batteries in and still the screen is not working. A waste of money for a piece of trash.

I am disappointed
3/5

I'm disappointed to say the least. As it should be, it's nice and functional Keeping track of the time can be quite the task. It's really sad to see the state of the batteries. Battery life isn't too great, as it seems to run out pretty quickly. What's worse is that the watch has no battery backup (like a watch battery), so every time the batteries are changed, you have to reset the whole Having to deal with this is very Our team is now actively seeking a different plugin that will plug into our existing one.
