My husband replaced the hooks and rehung the weight after I ordered them. What kind of person would have thought that the weights on a clock costing $2,500 would suddenly break and fall through your grandfather clock's floor? Instead, we're buying new clock hooks as the bottoms of my clock has been smashed. It's very likely that these replacement hooks will suit your needs. In my clock, I can no longer trust the weights - but it is not because of these replacement hooks, it is because I have a $2,500 clock with cheaply made parts that randomly fail.
