It is just the size I was looking for and is just as cute as it appears. With a distressed finish, most of the pieces are made out of metal. Plastic is the material I believe is on the back cover. From across a room, the face is attractive and the numbers are easy to read. Because of these reasons, I took off one star There are two problems with the domed glass cover 1. It glares. It has no felt covering or any other protective covering, and is very rough to the touch. Furniture made of wood will probably be scratched by this product.
Pewter is used for the overall body and distressing is used on the palms and legs I'm not really sure if the glass face is made from glass, but after tapping it I know for sure. As far as I can tell, so. While the plastic back cover matches the color of the pewter, it is made of plastic. The device is battery operated, in case you didn't realize I just used a simple quartz clock mechanism much like the kind that you might get from Ben Franklin's for clock-making DIY projects, but this one doesn't have a second hand. A crisp and sharp clock face can be seen on the wall. Can it be justified in terms of cost? The kitchen table gave me the old country kitchen feel, so I bought this to mimic that style. I got this to replicate that old kitchen table look for a fraction of the price. In short, it does what it says.
There is a soft limey green hue to it. I like the light green color. This definitely is a light lime green (not turquoise or aqua) with a yellow base light green* However, I had hoped for a pastel soft aqua based green based on the photos. The truth is that it isn't. There is a lot of distressing on this piece, making it look very old and vintage.
This is a very cute and shabby chic dress. I've been using the carbon zinc AA batteries as described in the description, and they've been working well. We have only had it for a few hours so I will have to update a little later on how well it keeps time, but a sweet, vintage style clock that is pretty quiet arrived safely. I appreciate the clock, but there is no nice box to present it in. Especially if you are giving it as a gift it comes in a very safe polystrene enclosure enclosed in a brown cardboard box. At first, it does not seem promising, but it gets better as you approach the timer. I think it's a little overpriced, but it is very cute. Arriving safely is far more important than a pretty outer box

I think this is the definition of shabby chic. I love it. They've done a great job of making this look old and worn, but of course, it's made to look that way. Considering that the plastic seemed to be fragile and that clips were holding it in place could be easily broken, I think it would be prone to breaking. Take a look at the attached photo to see what this piece can do to transform.
The framed print looked good on the small shelf in my bathroom and gave the rustic decor some more personality. It appears to be sturdy and appears to have a glass face however, I am okay with it since the clock is beautiful and does not have a glass face. As long as it can withstand some moisture when I shower, I'll be fine. As soon as I have more information, I'll let you know. Because the clock is so quiet, I had to hold it up to my ear to check if it worked before I put a battery in. The clock would be a great gift for anyone and I would definitely recommend it.
Despite my expectations, this clock is actually more appealing than I anticipated. A recent bathroom remodel has incorporated a shabby chic, fairly fancy faucet, and this piece is absolutely perfect. It is carefully packaged in rigid styrofoam, so there is no chance of damage. The device requires one AA battery, which is not included. In the product description, it might mention that it comes with filigreed details on the back. I love it when things go well! Because my clock sits in front of a big mirror, the back is exposed, and isn't that cute? Easy to read and good at keeping time. At this price, you get a lot for your money.
This was a great purchase, I am glad I got it! It's worth noting that even though the clock has a hard rubber back, it would almost be necessary for you to be able to remove it to put in No one would ever know that it's there. It fits in perfectly with the clock finish.
