The yellow one was the one I ended up with. In the dark, it's difficult to tell what time it is. There is no backlighting and the hands don't glow in the dark. It's only there to look at. However, I've had it for a long time and it actually works.
The time is ticking away.
Plastic. I just received mine, and the hands are loose, and it does not keep time so far, which is very disappointing. It'll most likely be returned. It's a sweet piece of nonsense.
It's a square yellow clock, not an alarm clock, that I bought.

I needed a clock for an antique Italian-style cabinet. bathroom with a theme This one has the right style and keeps time; I did not return it because of this, but I am docking a star for the finish, which is not as pictured. Rather than the erratic, natural-looking patterns, In contrast to the photo's dark spots of aging and weathering, the clock I received has dark spots between each number that are fairly evenly spaced and about the same size. It is not irregular or natural-looking. I'll probably end up working on it with paint, paint remover, stain, or something else because it lacks the charm it could have.
For years, we'd had a clock with a slightly larger face that had been dropped one too many times. This one can still be read from our chairs (about 12 feet away) on top of the TV. br>br>Only minor flaw is that it leans backwards a little. It was more difficult to read because it was above eye level. We used some sticky pads to raise the back legs (claws) a little, about 1/8 inch, and it worked fine. br>br>We were drawn to this model because of the design in the photos, and it did not disappoint. As intended, it appears to be old/retro. Because the back panel is plastic rather than metal like the outer casing and handle, it detracts slightly from the overall appearance. The back, on the other hand, is irrelevant. It's only noticeable when the batteries need to be replaced.
FOREST . I adore it. It appears to be both old and rustic, and it is stunning. I really like the color scheme and the distressed look of the painting. br>I like that it's mostly metal and solid looking (the back is plastic, but it looks great and hides the carbon zinc AA battery (which isn't included). When you get it, you'll need to put your own battery in the cover. I like how it looks like a glass cover and how easy it is to put on and take off. )br>I like how it looks like a glass cover and how easy it is to put on and take off. )br> br>It stands solidly with a backwards lean, which takes some getting used to because I prefer a more upright position, but it is so cute and a good size. br>The face is easy to read the time except when there is reflection from light on the cover. br>It has no backlight or other means of making it readable in the dark at night. This was something I already knew from the description, and I bought it knowing it. br>A noticeable Tick can be heard. From several feet away, a clear ticking clock sound could be heard. But not in a way that I would describe as excessively loud. However, it is neither silent nor particularly quiet. This is not something I'd want near my bed or in a room where silence is valued. br>In general, I'm very pleased. It only took a few hours for it to arrive, and I eagerly installed the recommended AA Zinc Carbon battery and set it out to enjoy. So far, the watch has performed admirably in terms of keeping time.
I'm very pleased with my new clock. I didn't like the color and kept looking for something else, but in the end I decided to buy it. As a result, I decided to paint it. It's a favorite of mine and my husband's as well. It looks lovely in our newly renovated bathroom.
The clock and mirror were at least in the same color family, though neither was completely black. Instead, it's more like a mix of black and brown. The clock's face isn't even close to being an antique. It appears to be of low quality. A glass front would have made it more believable. I wouldn't give it as a present. Now I have to disassemble the clock and paint it black, and I'm not sure if I'll use it because the face is a joke, and I can't convert the clock to a mirror because I bought the mirror at the same time. I will not use this vendor again after these two experiences. owing to a low level of taste and a skewed copy Now that I've got the clock, I'm even more convinced. It'd be better if it were a little bit smaller. too big. However, I was aware of the size, so I apologize. Perhaps it's a little too big, as it's an unappealing attempt at an antique look.
This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of mixing old and new. I wanted to soften the harsh contemporary feel of the luxury rich modern guest room theme I was going for. It's somewhere in the middle of a light teal and a darker teal. The color is a seafoam green.
While adjusting the time (darn daylight savings! ), my clumsy self dropped my older "Nikky Home" clock. I liked that clock so much that I bought this one to replace it, and I have to say, I like it even more! It has the same vintage appeal as the previous model, but the numbers are larger, and the blue face has a lovely pattern! The ticking is very quiet, and unless you pick it up and put it to your ear, you won't notice it. With just one good AA battery, these clocks appear to keep perfect time for months. The back is simple to remove and replace (it's made of plastic, so it'll last a long time but won't clash with the clock). I don't think this clock would look out of place in any room!.
It's beautiful in color and shape. It's a tad thicker than I had anticipated. In my bathroom, however, it looks nice.
