Setting it up yourself is the only way to do it
Battery backup is not available. However, it is powered by a cord. Power failures do not reset the clock, but they keep the settings for you if you happen to lose power.
It was a five foot power cord that I purchased.

I finally found a reason to buy another one of these. It would have been easier if I had run the power cable through a stick Those things are on plastic conduit (you can see a picture of the blue clock on this page). A short power cable was insufficient for my needs, so I built a longer power supply myself. A SoulBay power supply (with the provided terminal tip along with a 10' extension cable ( I cut the DreamSky power cable (leaving about 3” of cable) and attached it to the terminal tip (attached to extension cable) was all I needed. A wire with a white stripe goes to the positive terminal, so it gets connected there. Having connected the DreamSky tip to the new power supply (using the terminal tip and extension cable), I switched the power supply to 9V and plugged it in to In order to make sure my clock is operational, I double-checked The polarity of the voltage and voltage on the multimeter were confirmed. Although just barely fit in the large compartment provided by DreamSky, the extension cable's tip and terminal tip fit well. As much as I'm happy with the red and blue clocks, I'm equally happy with the blue Despite the fact that I won't divulge why they make me feel so happy, I love these clocks. I do not know why I am writing my review, I think I'm just weird.
Update I have had the clock for more than a year and it works perfectly. On the correct dates, it switched from standard time to daylight saving time and back again. Even though it has been unplugged a couple of times, the backup batteries (not included) have been able to keep it powered. Last but not least, I still see my newest purchase as bright as the day it arrived. The original review was as follows Due to the frequent failures of analog clock mechanisms, I switched to At the time I ordered this clock, I didn't know what to expect. Approximately six feet across), but the pictures of the customer were of a I am pleased to report that the numbers are in I'm red as a blood orange. In my garage, the clock is perfect (which is why the walls in my picture are all beat up). There are a few details missing from the manual. A press of the "up" button switches between 12-hour mode and 6-hour mode In addition, there are 24 You're on hour mode right now. Changing between Fahrenheit and Celsius can be done by pressing the "down" button. There is a small raised black text in the upper left corner of the buttons, but it is hard to see (the black buttons have a raised black text). The drywall anchors included in that kit are different from the ones I've seen before. Because they cannot be hammered directly into drywall (you can trust me on this), the hole would need to be drilled first. It happened to be a drywall anchor I had on hand that worked just fine.
I think this clock is a great value for the price. As you can see, the clock is all numbers, just the way I wanted it. It doesn't make sense to waste my space on useless decorative items. Bright and large numbers make them easy to read. Do I have "bright" in the right context? I'd be willing to bet someone will ask, so here are the answers There is no dimming of the numbers. Could you possibly dim a clock that is so gloriously bright? A. M. P. There are no batteries included in the backup system.
What an amazing clock! I love it so much! I was sold on the clock's "which" because, although it is available in other colors, the color is what made me choose it. There's nothing better than having the date and temperature displayed on the screen, both of which are large enough to read from 30 feet away (even with my poor eyesight, which isn't great) and always there without having to fiddle with mode buttons. In addition to the plastic screen protector, a bubble wrap bag and foam pad inside the box, the clock arrived in very good packaging. Despite the fact that the instructions are so nicely done and even in color, it was not necessary for me to read them since the functions for setting the clock are so simple and clear. A battery back-up system allows the clock to keep its settings in the event of a power outage. The accessory comes with screws and plugs to mount to sheetrock, but additionally has a flip-out for convenient drainage As you can see in the photos, I used the stand as a desk. The temperature reading matches what my infrared meter recorded, so unless one of the two is off, the temperature appears to be My expectations have been exceeded in every way by this clock. You should definitely give it a try.
As you can see in the photos, it was small. Their photos make the clock seem very large. It's like a scoreboard in size and I bought it for my workshop. It's about 6x14".
Having this displays the time across the classroom means I do not have to tell my students what time it is any more. Among the bonuses It never needs to be set for daylight savings time (it does this automatically), and it displays the current It is so much easier for them to date their papers without me having to write it every day on the board! I spent my money wisely!.
This is the first one I've seen and have given it a go. Our experience so far has been disappointing. This makes it easy to read since it's quite large. The USB plus plug we used to connect it to the wall is part of the unit. addition to the batteries, it also takes AAA batteries which are supposed to be backups in case of a power failure. I am not sure if the backup has worked yet since plugging it in, since the power has not gone out since plugging it in. We simply keep it across from his bed on his dresser right now. The back of the device has a stand. The frame is like a picture. Tables have been designed for this device, so that it can be set on them. In addition to mounting holes, the back has two studs for attachment to The plan is to eventually mount it on a corner of his bedside table. The screws for mounting it were even included. The clock is very bright and both of us like it. I love the color it's kind of blue. there is no longer a need for a nightlight, since the clock produces enough illumination. For those who don't like bright lights while they sleep, this clock could be a good option. There is only one thing I would suggest to improve it instead of showing the day of the week, it should show the weekday.
