Questions & Answers
The first response is nothing like what I've gone through. All six of these candles dripped, and the material they're made of makes it difficult to get them out of the carpet. Lol
About 50 hours, but the candles burned down the center, leaving too much on the sides, making the room dim. There isn't even a sliver of flickering.
I didn't notice any soot in my 10" vase or 14" hurricane after lighting these candles. br>As you've probably noticed from the reviews, some people have complained about them completely burning down and leaving tall candle walls behind. Mine burned well, leaving a 1" (maximum) wall behind it. There were no drips as a result of this.
There is no scent to these. They are intended for emergency lighting or ambiance only, and do not contain any fragrance.

What actually burns is a 2. The center has a diameter of 5". That's the genuine article. This is misleading, and Amazon should remove both the product and the seller from their marketplace. br>I don't usually write reviews, but this is something that others should know BEFORE they buy.
These candles burn strangely, with a ragged, uneven texture and a strange bumpy texture. They drip a lot and burn straight through the middle, leaving a collapsed outer shell and massive wax chips on the table I'm using. I've thrown away a lot of wax, including scraping up the actual melted wax that spilled out after one of the massive outer-space rockets exploded. Chips from the shell were missing. If you aren't planning to burn them, they make lovely decorations. However, they are ineffective for burning, which disappointed me greatly.
They burn in an odd way; as they burn down, they leave an exterior shell that is unattractive and skewed in my opinion. I took a photo so you can make your own decision. I'll place an order for a better variety and discard these. As a result, they only get one star because I won't be using them.
These candles burn in a very uneven manner. I got what I paid for when I bought a six pack of beer. The first two burned unevenly, with one burning only down one side before developing a hole and dripping wax onto the table. I have to keep an eye on these candles while they're burning and make sure the wax is evenly distributed around the top so this doesn't happen again. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
I was initially very excited because the candles were attractive and had a smooth surface. However, as shown in the photo, they developed an uneven burn, a strange lip shape, and wax leaking from beneath the wax almost immediately. This happened with both of the candles I was using. It's just of poor quality and doesn't appear to be very attractive. There are better candles out there, which I would not recommend.
Simply put, you should not. Advertising that is deceptive. Is it a day and a half, or 35 hours? Is it possible that they are not alone in their thoughts? This creature lasted for six months. 8 hours is the maximum amount of time I would recommend. Also, because it burned so hot and fast, it shattered the glass lantern I had it in (which was designed for the exact size of the vtjiisr candle). Soot was strewn across the floor, glass was charred, and wax was dripping from the ceiling.
These candles are a complete waste of money. Because the wick only extends about two-thirds of the way down the candle, it burns out long before the candle is supposed to be finished. This has happened with the first three candles I've burned out of a box of six. The wick has burned out and the candle is no longer lit. Only 5" (out of a total of 4) of the candle is left. It was a waste of money.
The candle is thick, which is great for burn time, but it is bound to have tunneling issues, and the wick leans in one direction, which can cause lopsided tunneling. If you try to leave the candle lit long enough to reach the rim, the wick will lean to one side, causing the edge to melt and leak wax, defeating the purpose of buying a candle with a long burn time. Wick reaches all the way down to the last centimeter or so of candle, which is nice, but the wick curls inwards near the end, making your last inch of candle appear to have two wicks. I didn't notice until I saw the massive flames from both wicks being lit that they were lit. It's not a hazard because you should always be close by and keep an eye on any candle that's burning. Overall, a good candle pack for the money.
