The wax is definitely beeswax and burns smoothly, so it's a good deal for the price

However, be aware that approximately 20 of the wicks in my box of 24 were not centered. Unless you're willing to keep an eye on the candles and center the wick when the wax is sufficiently melted, this causes the candles to burn unevenly and waste wax. (To center the wick and clean the unmelted wax off the cup's side, I use a steel poultry lacer that won't catch fire. ) ) Another brand I tried was missing all of its wicks. So, for the money, this isn't too bad.

These candles are absolutely gorgeous! This product is fantastic, and I will be ordering more of it in the future! My research led me to soy and bees wax because I am very sensitive to smells and have birds with sensitive respiratory systems

I started with the soy because it was less expensive, but I didn't like how they burned or how oily they were! There was a faint odor to the soy candles as well. These candles have no odor and burn for an extended period of time. I saw that they sell larger packs, so I went ahead and ordered the 48 count!.

When I was a kid, we always lit beeswax candles in the winter. They had a beeswaxy odor to them. These candles don't have much of a scent to them. I bought them for the smell, and I was very disappointed.

The quality is superb

The burn time is definitely over 4 hours in my case, and the beeswax scent is light but distinct. The plastic cup was initially concerning, but it never burned or melted. To keep it from moving on the tablecloth, there are four pointy dots on the bottom. In general, great quilting.

SMOKEY! The tea lights burn for a long time, but they leave a smokey residue on the glass in which they are burned
