So far as I can tell, it says cotton wick with real wax candles and nothing else.
The cups are made of a clear plastic that is both strong and durable. I'm a priest, and we use these on a regular basis; they've never melted.

I bought these candles and got a complete disaster. The candle is out of date. The box had been ripped apart in every way. I'll be returning this shambles to you.
These long-burning tea lights come in clear plastic holders, which makes them ideal for use in glass votives (which is why I bought them). I used to own a Bolsius 8-footer. These are much better than the hour tea lights in aluminum holders. Bolsius candles are the only ones I use because they are both affordable and high-quality, and these tea lights are no exception.
Much more practical, and I like the clear container as well! The quality is outstanding, and the price for such a large quantity of tea lights is PERFECT! I strongly advise anyone who enjoys using tea lights to get these, especially for the holidays!.
I couldn't believe these candles lasted as long as they said they did. I burn tea lights in a variety of decorative candle holders on a regular basis, so regular tea lights burn a hole in my pocket in terms of how quickly I go through them and have to keep buying more. These long-burning candles were ideal, and the clear cup was both safe and more effective than the tin cup in terms of producing light.
Please replenish the supply! I'm always on the lookout for the best tealights, and these are the best I've found so far. They burn brightly and for the full 8 hours that the package claims. I'm concerned that they're showing as 'unavailable' on Amazon's site; I'd buy them forever if they were still available, so I'm hoping they'll be available soon.
At the very least, that's how my package arrived. Cups with a cloudy appearance and a waxy, dusty appearance.
They produce a bright full flame even when placed in a colored glass container.
I like how long this lasts, but I don't care for the packaging. They were all over the bag when I got it, and the top was ripped.
