A very small amount of residue was left behind after the candle was burned. I found it to be very good quality for the price. It can be used for decoration, religious or spiritual purposes. A big plus! You can prepare the 7 day candle to burn even better if you cover the candle in foil so you can't see the outside of the glass, burn it for four hours straight in a safe area to soften the wax, then place it in the refrigerator overnight to make it.
There was no way to keep the candle burning longer than five minutes because the wick burned out almost immediately. No flame to be seen.
