This candle appears to have a brown print/font color. It's almost black, but it's pleasing to the eye. If it were made of silver or gold, it would be extremely difficult to see and read. I hope this information is useful.

It's not the candles, it's the lighting.
There was no dripping from the pillar. It takes a long time to burn.

No, I didn't realize the quote was just pasted onto some cheap flimsy plastic and glued to the candle when I bought it. The plastic was all messed up when it arrived because it doesn't adhere to the candle very well, and when it falls off (which it will-- It's IMPOSSIBLE to get it unwrinkled and smooth on the candle again (drop it, touch it, anything will make it move). When wax drips on top of it, I'm not sure how long it'll last. Simply buy plain candles and cut them out with a cricut or something similar to achieve the same effect for a fraction of the price. Don't waste your money on deceptive advertising here.
These were ordered for my brother's wedding because they looked great and I liked the message. These were warped when they arrived, which was extremely inconvenient. I'll have to return these and hope to find something else that will be delivered on time.
" The candle and tapers were delivered promptly and in perfect condition. The writing on the candle is clear and beautiful, despite the fact that it is on a plastic liner of some sort. The plastic liner is not visible, so it appears to be a part of the candle and does not appear to be "cheap. " We used the candle at both the wedding and the reception, elevating it to a place of honor on the buffet table so that guests could see it and read the inscription. It seemed like a nice touch because all too often, the couple chooses a wonderful verse for the candle, but no one notices it in the church because they are clearly not close enough, and the candle vanishes and is put away afterward.
My husband and I used these as unity candles in our wedding; they were beautiful, and the stands that came with them were even more so. We will treasure these candles for the rest of our lives, and we thank you so much for making them.
I was expecting to get some plain candles from a dollar store or something, but when I saw these, I was ecstatic to have them as a keepsake after our wedding.
Because the two taper candles have different diameters, one of them fell through the standard 3/4" openings in the candle holder. Because I didn't want to return the center candle, I had to place a separate order for only taper candles at an additional cost.
Returning is no longer possible. For the wedding, I needed to purchase a simple pillar candle.
The candles were just like they said they would be. It arrived promptly and in good condition. The candles were well-made and free of visible flaws. We used them at the wedding and they were fantastic.
