This is a truly magnificent candle. These arrived quickly, and I paid a little more than I expected for a pair of two. The diameter is 75. candle. They do, however, last for at least 40 hours. Another reviewer recommended rolling the candle wax edge in toward the candle on a regular basis, so we did just that. So, after one night of burning, I did it again the next day around noon, and then again in the evening. We simply rolled the edge in again after two days (about 42 hours). see pic. We didn't try to trim wicks or anything like that; instead, we simply rolled the edge in a bit like in the photo. The candle is outside, and the wind will likely shorten its life, but we have this glass cylinder chimney to protect it. I prefer to buy wax for its quality rather than its quantity.

We required candles for a fireplace candelabra. These are the perfect size for our needs, and they appear to last a long time while also looking great. My only complaint is that they are only "dripless" in the majority of cases. We've used ten candles so far, and eight of them haven't dripped at all, which is fantastic. However, the number two has plummeted. I'm not sure if it was because the wick wasn't straight up and I didn't notice. They do the job, though, and they look good in the process. br>br>PS: I apologize if my photos appear to be rotated; I'm not sure what's going on with the upload.

I finally finished it, but candles were required. These candles were EXACTLY what I was looking for! According to some of the reviews, the candles are not dripless. NOTHING COULD BE FAR FROM THE TRUTH! These candles burn for a long time and do not damage my table or paint job! These candles are something I would recommend to anyone! *Note: While the candles were burning, there was no wind in the room.

I've bought candles from Bolsius three times now. These are high-quality candles that burn evenly and for a long time, with not a single one becoming misshapen and leaking melted wax all over the place. I now only purchase these candles.

I used these in my wedding centerpieces, and they turned out beautifully. They arrived quickly and were exactly as described, holding up well after hours of burning in my reception area. I would buy this candle again because there is still plenty of candle left to burn for future uses. br>br>Just make sure the vases are a minimum of 1. If using outside, make sure the candle is at least 5" taller than the top of the candle; the wind did blow a few out at first, and they had to be relit several times.

These candles burn for a long time! This set was purchased for my lantern wedding centerpieces. I wanted to see how the candle burned, and it did not disappoint! It has a lovely slow burn that drips into itself rather than down the side, giving it a nice clean appearance. It's been burning for about three hours now. It's been 4 days and I've only burned about half of it. For your next event, I strongly suggest Bolsius Pillar Candles.

"Dripless" isn't the right word. Due to a power outage this weekend, I was able to use the candles for the first time; I used 5 of the (2) packs of 12 candles I purchased. Three of the candles began to drip wax soon after they were lit. Thankfully, I caught it early enough, and before lighting the remaining candles, I placed them on plates. br>br>Apart from that, fantastic candles. They produce adequate light and emit no odor. I was relieved to have them on standby in case of an emergency. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but we had them burning for about 5 hours and they'd melted about a quarter of an inch.

5" WHITE (not ivory) pillar candles were difficult to come by. These were ideal for the job and performed admirably! We had them lit for the duration of the reception, and they didn't even get close to burning out. These would be fantastic for a large gathering!.
