No, there's a bottom-mounted button that you press to light a different candle each night.
It's not particularly heavy, so you could probably suction it to a window. It's a lovely piece, and I bought one for my mother as well.
The bulbs are screwed in place and cannot be removed.
Four AAA batteries are required. Not a part of the package. This is the first year I'll be using it.

With bright LED bulbs and the option of using batteries or USB power, this is a great way to look. Because we can't light our chanukkiyot in the windows because of our mischievous cats, I've been looking for an electric chanukkiyah (menorah for Chanukah) for a while. We'll keep lighting our candle chanukkiyot, but I wanted something to put in the window so that my neighbors could see the lights. Many of the electric ones on the market are either too modern, have too small or dim bulbs, or simply do not work. When I started looking again this year, this one piqued my interest. From the pictures, it didn't appear to be too cheesy, and I liked that it was LED and could be powered by batteries or a USB cable. br>br>I was pleasantly surprised when I received the chanukkiyah. I was concerned that it would come across as incredibly cheesy. Even though it's made of lightweight plastic, it looks nice, and the LED bulbs are quite bright. I decided to use a USB cable to charge mine, and it works perfectly. It has a toggle switch that begins by lighting the shamash and one "candle," with each click adding one more "candle. " To turn it off, you'll have to cycle through them all, but that's a minor inconvenience. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and expect it to serve me well for many years.
OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL! So upset! It's certainly lovely, but one of the bulbs is missing! So upset! And today is the first day of Hanukkah! I suppose I'll return it and won't be able to celebrate Hanukkah this year: (br>br>UPDATE! (br>br>UPDATE! br>I emailed the company/seller, and they responded almost immediately. They also sent me a replacement bulb cap right away, which arrived in 48 hours. br>br>Appraisal of an item- br>It is truly stunning. Yes, it's made of plastic, but only when you pick it up or touch it will you notice. Aside from that, it appears to be a gleaming silver metal that is extremely durable. Light- Despite its light weight, it has a solid, high-quality feel and appearance. It's also incredibly simple to turn on whatever lights you want by simply pressing the bottom-mounted button. The blue bulbs on the silver menorah are truly beautiful. My purchase has made me extremely happy! This is something I'll be using for a long time!.
This Menorah appeals to me greatly. Runs on 4 AAA batteries or a USB cable (included), and each time you press the button, a new bulb will light up, all of which are a lovely calming blue. Thank you for your time and consideration. br>br>br>br>br>.
The package was shipped and arrived quickly, and it was well-packaged. There is no damage, scratches, or dents, and nothing is missing. I believe it came with a USB cable but not an adapter for the outlet. I had an extra adapter and used it with the included cord, which worked fine. I haven't tried it with batteries yet. All of the lights, buttons, and ports are functional. It's very light, so it'll only be as strong as your family will allow. My cats were not interested, despite the fact that I had them. They could have easily knocked it over if they were interested. It gives off a warm, soft glow at night when there are no lights on in the house. br>Because I am not Hebrew or Jewish, I have no idea how authentic the symbols on the menorah are. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose. I hope you find this information useful in making your decision. Thank you for your time and consideration, and best wishes for the New Year of 2021!.
UPDATE (December 7, 2018): My batteries were already dwindling a few days into my new menorah's first Chanukah, so I tried plugging in the USB cable, which caused the port to break off. So I can't use the USB port; the batteries still work, but that's a bummer; I'm giving it two stars now, and I wouldn't count on being able to plug it in. Original review: br>br> I'd like to have a pet. Menorah, be safe. This appears to be a good fit. All of the pieces were in place when it arrived, and all of the bulbs worked. It's kind of amusing to me that in order to turn it off, you have to "light" all of the candles. Overall, this is a good electric/battery-powered device. It is a powered menorah at a reasonable price, but it does not come with batteries or cables, as stated. I just bought it, so I haven't had a chance to put it to the test over the holidays, but if it doesn't hold up, I'll update my review.
For this amount of money, I believe it should be of much higher quality. It appeared to have been bought at a dollar store because it was so cheaply made. The USB input would not fit in the slot when I tried to use it. "Plugging it in a socket" isn't an option. Simply put, batteries are required. It is easily knocked over because it has no weight. I'm not sure why it's received such positive feedback. It's going back to you.
When this item arrived, I was taken aback by its flimsiness and dismayed by the low price. buttery dimming I was irritated beyond words by the fact that this overpriced item only came with a USB cable and no wall adapter. Before I could plug it in, I had to dig through my junk drawer for one. It's also powered by four AAA batteries, which aren't included. br>br>At the price, this menorah should be much more durable, brighter, and include a wall adapter. It should also not be too difficult to use. The "On" switch had to be pressed several times before it finally turned on. Overall, I am dissatisfied with this purchase, and I believe it will not last long, if at all. br>br>Don't throw your money away.
It is $15, not $30. I'm not sure what happened to the days when plugs for standard outlets were used. The only advantage is that the light bulbs do not need to be changed. I'm going to keep it because I can't seem to locate the 20-year-old white ones with orange screw bulbs that worked so well! I'm hoping the lights stay turned on. Isn't that a bit of a stretch for a menorah? Lol.
