The first few chapters are fantastic. It does take a little time for the candle to warm up, but besides that, it smells fantastic. Apparently this warmer does not shatter candles if it becomes too hot. I was reluctant to buy it because I had heard about candle warmers becoming too hot and breaking candles. The only candle I have used it with is a bath and body works candle.
