There is a 2 1/2" width to the disposable Candle holder
A fraction of an eighth is actually half. So there's quite a bit of difference there. There is a candle that is 1/2-inch in diameter that I tried to put There were only 3/4 and these weren't big enough for all. Despite trying to hold them in place with my finger, in did not work. I had not expected them to be so large.
It is not enough for the candles to stand alone. They have to be supported somehow. It is aluminum foil that is lightweight. Their opening is not as large as the opening of a pillar candle, though they can support anything if they're in a container. It shouldn't be a problem to fit a taper. In order to pinched in a foil candle, the foil must be pinned in around the candle. Since these candles are made from foil, this can be done without much difficulty. I hope this is helpful!
This is aluminum, not plastic

stated by another reviewer, these "yellow box" foil holders are too shallow to function as the holders for Standard Shabbat Candles available from Ner Mitzvah. Instead of the Blue Box holders, which are also made by Ner Mitzvah, but without the Ohr branding, spend a few dollars more for the Extra Deep holders. As an alternative, you can purchase the Blue Box holders (ASIN B07NKJRHH7). For a comparison between the current product on the left (which is affectionately known as the "Yellow Box") and the Extra Deep holder on the right (the "Blue Box"), please refer to the picture on the left. My Shabbat candles stand straight in my candle holder now, and the difference is very apparent.
I am horrified by the packaging. Each of these came packaged in a thin box with no packing materials. The box came inside a thin envelope without any materials for protecting it. Because the drip cups were either mangled or completely flat, it's fairly certain that something heavy was placed on top of the envelope at some point. It is a positive that they could be reshaped with only a slight amount of effort, because the aluminum is so thin, so they are at least still usable (even if they are In my case, they do not work well with my candle holders, but work fairly well when nested into a bowl of salt or sand (keeps the wax from getting into the bowl). The next time I order these, I will not order them. It would be cheaper for me to make them myself using a box of aluminum foil and they would be.
How have I never heard of these for the past 40 years of my life? What a fantastic find. A pair of scissors can be used to pop one through the bottom and turn them into drip catchers for holding candles while standing for vigils. They can adapt to different sizes of candlesticks and candles, even small chime candles. The aluminum is too flexible to be bent over a centerpiece, so you can bend it over a decoration while leaving the candle securely in place. This is awesome! I'm so glad I happened to come across these while browsing and decided to buy them on impulse. It's a great product that I'm sure I'll recommend to my friends.
The products I purchased years ago would have been useful for me now. For Shabbat candlesticks, I use metal bobeche, but the candles burn down to a nub every now and then that needs scraping out with a knife. I kept the foils instead because they appeared to be unsanitary An ecological perspective. After the first set of bobeche, I have been using it for at least five This makes the candle bases very secure since I can mold the candles around them. As soon as Shabbat is over, I can pull out the nub by rolling the bobeche between my fingers. Next, I save the bobeche so that I can use it.
As a table setting for holiday dinners, I needed reasonably priced bobeches and had previously used glass bobeches. However, they are thin and break easily when you wipe them clean after cleaning off It fits very well and is extremely durable, better than a similar jacket without an My wife and I are very happy with both the quality and price of this item.
A little wax leaks into the candle holder as well. There is no wax on the holder now, so it is not as bad as without the holder, but I still have to remove it. This defeats the purpose a bit.
HEAVY-DUTY disposable items are designed for use in They are simply THE BEST when it comes to foil holders! I was able to save so much time and resources with their help Getting rid of candle wax drips is not a headache, and they are also unobtrusive in appearance The last few years, I have used them almost every day-ever since I was fortunate enough to discover their existence. They are 100% recommended to all candle lovers, as I am! I was very pleased with the service of this seller as well!!.
I have a problem with my candles leaking even though they are supposed to be drip-free. Although I use stainless steel liners, they too must be cleaned, and I couldn't stand to get the wax off them. As a result, I now use these liners inside those liners, and the candle sticks stay clean, and when I find the aluminum disposables too messy, I just toss them. The solution is very good.
