A heavy paper is used with a semi-glossy finish One side has a gloss finish. They are not made with plastic or anything, but we were very happy with them
I really like this and you can reuse it after cleaning it. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS
It is not something I would recommend. There is a 5/8 inch diameter limit for tapers that can be held within it. If using larger candles, I would purchase larger drip protectors with a diameter greater than 4", but it is difficult to find these. Consider using a small paper plate and making your own for a candle with a diameter of 1 1/2".
In fact, the circle could accommodate up to 1 inch in diameter in the center, since the entire circumference is close to 3".

The heavy duty drip protectors I purchased are well made and sturdy, unlike the lighter ones I have bought. These are heavy and not flimsy. The cutouts have many different sizes that will work with many different candles. This is a great company. Thank you for reviewing this! Please let me know if it was.
This disposable paper product is used only once a year during the Candlelight service at our church. It protects your hand from hot It takes about 15 minutes for the candles to burn out. In the church we reuse the candles about three times, but the bobeche only gets used once and is disposed of. Candles and bobeches are only sold in sets of matching numbers at Christian supply stores. Thank you to D'Light for offering a separate product.
Does what it is supposed to do. The videos I purchased for our Christmas program at church were exactly what we needed Make sure your hands are free of wax. When putting them on candles, find a way to put them from the top of the candle down. So the little triangle point in the hole of the paper points upwards to reach These candles come with a simple, plain, and thin wick that allows some wax to flow onto your hand when you slide it onto the bottom of the candle. A total of 50 or so people attended without any complaints. You should not use these as a wick for a candle that is intended for younger children (under There is no way to make a candle child-safe. In our case, we used a battery The kids could hold the tea lights with a battery-powered LED.
There is an unusual reason for why I use them. We used them for labeling chorus robes in The list of names and robe numbers does not work so well for these younger children. In my experience, it's easier to place their name in large letters and slip the bobeche over the hanger through the candle hole than to inscribe their names small letters. In this year's class, a 6th grader was helping her mom label the "name tags" ahead of time. Using colored Sharpies on the names, she had a lot of fun. In order for the children to easily find the right robe, the tags are now even more distinctive. There may have been an advantage to doing this with the adults as well. I love it!.
The protective paper prevented candle drips from getting past it. I love it!.
As anticipated, these are smaller than expected and would work for a relatively short period of time. We elected not to use them, however, as I was concerned that their size would prevent any drips from getting on the hands of those that hold candles.
The candles were used at a memorial service, so there was no wax dripping onto the bricks of the.
Candles are easily inserted, the bobeches stay in place, they're easy to hold, and they catch the drippings if any do happen. Despite their fragility, they are able to withstand repeated use It can be used if necessary.
