I expected it to be "thin" based on the reviews. It isn't old-fashioned-style-style-style-style-style- It's made of thick, heavy iron, but it's lovely and fits in perfectly with my colonial decor. I purchased two of them and am very happy with both of them.
These are fantastic! I told a few of them that they needed to go around the house. They have the antique appearance I was after. They could be a little more sturdy, and there is no pin to push the candle down onto, so I'm only giving them four out of five stars. However, because I won't be carrying them around, they'll suffice as a decorative holder.
This candle tray is one of my favorites. My order, however, was all scratched up when it arrived. When I contacted the seller, I was told that I could return it (at my expense) and order a replacement. I decided to keep it and give it a new lease on life by painting it. It's held up well over time.
) work well as a base for candle jars. They appear to be a perfect fit for my primitive colonial home!.
So cute!.
It was of poor quality and fell apart in the box; I would not recommend it.
For their intended purpose, they are insufficient. The ring handle will be overstressed, bending, breaking, and cracking or chipping the finish as a result of the pillar's size. I use them to make white candles that are 1 1/4 inch in diameter and 6 inches tall. This is a good match. There is no base pin (nail-like thing to press the candle down onto) to hold the candle.
