This was supposed to be a lot bigger than it is. The jars are pints in size. One of the jars, unfortunately, was shattered upon arrival. I didn't like the artificial flowers, so I bought some simple babies breath, which look nice, and the lights and remotes work fine (you can only use one). It's not too difficult to put together. br>br>Overall, I expected higher quality for the price, but at least now I know I can do it myself.
These rustic diy sconces, as well as mason jar decor ideas in general, are right now my favorite things. I'm not a big fan of fake flowers and plants in general, so I've never used them for that, but they can help hide the string lights. I'm actually storing my son's special paint pens and markers in these next to his desk, and I think it's a cute way to display them. I do plan on getting a white pair of sconces for my living room, and I do intend to put flowers and lights in them, but they will most likely be pampas plants/feathers or dried flowers. But that's just my ascetic nature. Any woman, I'm sure, would be thrilled to receive one of these. I can think of at least ten cute things to do with them!.
Minimal instructions were included, and they did not correspond to the product; I had to use double-sided tape to attach the battery pack to the back. I'm hoping to stay there for a while. With the flashing, lights have a mind of their own. There are no instructions for using the timer. On the boards, the hooks are not centered. However, now that they're up and about, they're cute enough.
I can't say if the timer works or how it works because it's just a switch that says on, off, and timer, but the box says it takes three AA batteries. They're really adorable. I wouldn't call them grey, but I'm still going to repaint them. I'll have to buy new flowers because the ones I had were smashed flat. So, for half the price of roses, I recommend picking up a hydrega set.
I really like how these look on the porch. Everything is included, so just put it together and have fun. The fairy lights are long lasting, and the backboard is solid wood. Each sconce requires two double A batteries, so have some on hand. It's simple to put together and looks fantastic once done. They are long-lasting and perform admirably. Outstanding worth.
This item was purchased in preparation for my son's rustic backyard rehearsal dinner. I didn't even put it to use. The mason jars are fine, but the flowers look as if they belong in a pretend doll house, and the wood is the cheapest I've ever seen. I was let down. I simply stuffed it back into the box and will donate it to Goodwill, hoping that someone will find it useful.
They're super cute and match my decor perfectly. The lighting is fantastic and adds a nice finishing touch. It comes with two remote controls, but one of them controls both, which is convenient, and I appreciate the ability to dim the lights. A ten out of ten recommendation.
