Yes, it was accompanied by a Prop 65 warning.
Yes. I had no problems returning mine; I loved it, but it was a little too big for my small apartment and looked out of place.
Allow the branches to fall to the ground. You may need to push the branches down slightly after a day or two to get it to fill out.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. Outside, it might get dusty faster, but that's the only disadvantage I can think of. Ours has been used on the covered porch of our home. It isn't protected by a screen.

What a fantastic design and method of packaging and shipping! A six-foot-tall tree is first encased in a six-foot-tall From top to bottom, a 5' baggie is enclosed in a special polyester 6. 5' sleeve, which was then placed in a long box that arrived in perfect condition. Leaves are actually a type of fabric that comes in various shades of dark and light. Internal wires in the branches make it simple to train without risking breaking them. The fact that the trunks are made of natural wood is an added bonus. A lot of branches and leaves, and a good descriptive tag. We spent hours researching before deciding on this one, and we are glad we did. It's a lot better than the "deluxe" ficus, which costs more than twice as much!br>br>BTW, this serves two purposes in our newly renovated home theater: Thanks to the new laminate floor versus the old carpet, the room has a nice ambience and a partial solution to "tame" a very live room. 4018550.
Love It. Before placing my order, I read reviews on a number of fake ficuses (because who can keep a real one alive?) This is the one I chose. Advantages: br>br> br>It arrived in good condition- A long cardboard box was used to package the items. The tree was kept inside a drawstring bag made of the same material as those reusable grocery store shopping bags. The base was also surrounded by Styrofoam. The packaging was excellent. It arrived in perfect condition. br>br>The leaves are a variety of colors, adding to the tree's beauty. It can be easily molded. The individual leaves, like the branches, are movable and bendable. br>br>I'm really pleased with how it brightened up that area of the room. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. (These aren't significant enough for me to deduct stars)br>br>The base of this tree is TOO SMALL for the proportions of the tree. It has a ridiculous appearance and appears to be on the verge of collapsing. The tree's "trunk" is positioned off-center in the pot, contributing to its topple. over- ness. I got a heavy planter to put it in and turned the tree so that the trunk appears to be centered, and it's fine now. Be prepared to use another pot on the outside because it requires the extra weight on the bottom. br>br>One of my branches broke off completely. I had to hot glue that sucker back on while I was shaping the tree, but I was able to move it around without it falling off. br>br>We did wire the tree to a hook in the wall where we have it (in a corner) just to keep it from toppling over if the cat decides to go a-meowing. He's been wandering, but he's kept it to himself so far. If you have an active cat or dog, I would recommend anchoring it in some way (either to the wall or by adding weight to the base). It's top heavy, as I mentioned, and without the proper weight distribution, it could easily topple over. br>br>However, because these flaws are minor and easily remedied, I would still award 5 stars. It appears to be fantastic. I am ecstatic.
It was delivered in excellent condition. The vase that anchors it was broken when it arrived, but that didn't bother me because I was planning on putting it in a large basket anyway. br>It looks pretty amazing after spending some time opening all of the limbs and adjusting their position. It's ideal for someone like me who forgets to water plants on a regular basis. br>Beautiful, practical, and affordable; it doesn't get any better than this.
cement that has been broken. My item arrived three days later than expected, which was fine because I received an update from Amazon. I like how the tree's trunk is made of real wood and the leaves are so realistic looking; the branches are easy to manipulate and spread out. It's one of the most beautiful artificial trees I've ever seen, and it's ideal for my home decor. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, THE PACKING IS AWFUL. My package was partially opened and bent in various places, as if it had been tossed around, when I arrived at my door. The cement and fake moss that held the tree together in the pot had crumbled into massive shards! It shattered Styrofoam, fake moss, and cement fragments all over the place. The tree is only standing in the black pot because I stuffed big cement chunks in there to keep it from falling over. To give it more support, I placed it in a larger clay pot.
There were no damages, and it was simple to put together. On Amazon, I found the perfect tree basket.
The tree arrived in a reusable sleeve, with the base wrapped in foam to protect the cement-filled pot. It took some time to shape the branches, but once they were done, it was quite full and looked fantastic! br>br>I'm going to place another order.
I paint small wooden birdhouses and thought this tree would be a great place to put them on display. Because I live in Southern California, I purchased a large ceramic pot and black stones to 'anchor' the tree in. Cal. It's also quite windy a lot of the time. I placed the tree on my small outdoor front porch, where it receives daily compliments from my neighbors. The packaging was excellent, as was the condition of the product when it arrived. My purchase has exceeded my expectations.
This tree was purchased for the back patio of my home. It looks lovely there, and it gives the room some privacy. My only criticism is that the cement in the holder was broken into several loose pieces when it arrived, making it impossible for the tree to stand on its own. We purchased a larger pot for it and carefully placed it upright in the pot while filling it with gravel. There are no problems now, and it's incredibly strong, even in strong winds. It was impossible to repack the tree because it was so awkward. This was a good solution because I couldn't send in for a replacement.
