Questions & Answers
Dust bunnies will get away from it, so you'll have to stomp them with the broom, then use the dust pan scrape tool to remove them from the broom.
With the opening facing up, you balance the dustpan on the handle, which is horizontal. With your other hand, lift the trash can lid, place the dustpan over the trash can, and rotate the dustpan 180 degrees so that the opening points downward, allowing gravity to work. For good measure, smack the dustpan's handle against the trashcan's rim. The task has been completed.
Sorry. There's no way to know for sure.

I had brain surgery in November and purchased this because I couldn't bend down and needed a way to easily pick up a small amount of stuff in my room. This allowed me to sweep without having to bend over, and it's also very light. I also like how the broom attaches to the dust pan with a snap, and how the dust pan has a broom comb. This is excellent value for money, and I strongly suggest it.
To keep the dustpan in place, I only use a couple of fingers to grip the handle. It may appear to be an unusual method of accomplishing this, but it is effective. Having had surgery and being unable to bend over, I had high expectations for this. The broom and dustpan handles are the perfect height, and I love the teeth that clean the broom of dog hair, lint, and other debris. The broom attaches to the dustpan handle so it never gets lost, but when you sweep dirt into it, it goes under the dustpan rather than into it. To get the dustpan to work properly, I need to put my foot into it.
It's so difficult to use this broom. It comes in three pieces that must be twisted together to form a complete unit. The room becomes untwisted in all three places at different times while in use. I can only get about 10 strokes out of the broom before I have to tighten it up again. It irritates me to no end. In addition, the dustpan is not easily supported on its own. It can be made to do so, but it is difficult to return to its original vertical position. Using it is a pain.
This is something I bought for my small shop to sweep the dust and debris off the concrete floors. The dust pan isn't perfectly flat, but all dust pans I've ever owned have been like that. I haven't tried heating it yet, but I've heard it can be flattened out by soaking it in a hot bath. It's fairly flat, so it'll suffice. The broom's handle is long, but the top extension can easily be removed for access to tighter spaces. I didn't notice it spinning off during normal use, as some others have. This is a good broom, in my opinion.
Keeps pet hair out of the broom and prevents matting. I like that I don't have to stoop to turn the dustpan - This is a true back-saver. I don't have to move the dustpan to get all of the dust particles into it because it works well. It's a well-made product that I would recommend.
The broom and dustpan are light and compact, making them easy to store. My hard wood floors will look great with it. When I needed help, the customer service was excellent.
This was purchased for outdoor use. There will be no more bending over to sweep up spent flower blossoms. It's well-made and tough. I would purchase this item again.
At first, this appeared to be a fantastic idea- I wanted to buy something that I was sure of. Pay a little more because the reviews were positive, and put money into my house. Welp. There is a fatal flaw in the dustpan. Because it isn't perfectly flat, dust collects beneath the pan. I tried a few different angles, but I believe I bought a dud. I'm irritated to the point of indignation. The broom is good, but the scooper should be just as good.
