I'm guessing it's around 5 inches long. I've never measured them before, but they're fantastic, so I'm going to order some more:
I'm not sure what I'm saying. Only the broom is of no use to me. The fireplace hearth is cleaned with both a broom and a dustpan.
Galvanized steel is used to make the dust pan.
The bristles are approximately 4" wide, and the broom, including the handle, measures approximately 10" long.

First and foremost, his sole purpose is to clean up the area around and inside the wood stove. This is a tool that is very light in weight. It looks like a scaled-down witch's broom to me. It's so adorable. The handle rivets on the pan are loose, so it's not the most durable item. It is not, however, designed for concrete shoveling. Woodstove ash is what we use it for. With said usage, I anticipate this set lasting many years.
This set has exceeded my expectations. This one gives you exactly what you see. Both the whisk broom and the dustpan are of excellent quality. I was concerned that the dustpan's metal would be flimsy or bendable, but it isn't. I am very happy with my purchase. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After 9 months, and despite the fact that they are both heavily used, They're still in fantastic shape, and they're going to be even better in the future. a different form!.
It's small, as others have mentioned, but it's made of sturdy materials and well-built. I agree with the reviewer who stated that it is not stainless steel, but rather nicely coated mild steel, and that it could easily last a lifetime if not abused. I believe it will be ideal as a counterbrush for cleaning stray flowers, seeds, and crumbs from food contact surfaces in the kitchen, as well as table linens at the dining table. So that it stays sanitary, I'm going to use it for that. Although a Shuro broom must be made in Japan, and this one is clearly marked made in China, it is unquestionably a high-quality product, as both China and Japan are home to the same large palms and windmill palms that have been used for centuries. The broom bristles are, without a doubt, genuine. They are extremely fine and do not produce static electricity, making them ideal for sweeping and collecting extremely fine dust such as pastry flour. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way.
This is exactly what I needed to sweep up the ash and wood chips that accumulate around my wood stove: it hangs, the metal pan doesn't melt near the fire, and the broom is thick and sweeps well. I wouldn't use it to clean out the ashes from inside the wood stove or fireplace because it doesn't appear to be very sturdy. That can be done with much larger, heavier metal tools. This is clearly intended for light duty work, but it's well suited for it, and I expect it to last for many years.
This little broom and dustpan has been put to a lot of use! I use it to clean the inside and outside of my house on a regular basis. I used it to sweep the mulch away from the edging when I was mulching. My cats are messy eaters, so I use it in the kitchen to sweep up cat food. It's simply a very useful item to have on hand. (It'd also be useful for cleaning up after a campsite. ) )br>br>I'm giving it four stars because the little string on the end of the broom handle broke off, and I can't hang it up anymore, which took away a star for diligence.
The dustpan was warped in the first place. I bought two of them, and they were both in this condition. What is the significance of this? Because the pan's edge was curved away from the ground, brushing anything onto the pan was impossible. The pan had to be bent in a specific way before it could be used. Getting a flat edge wasn't impossible, but it wasn't simple either. I was concerned that the pan would be damaged. Aside from that, it's exactly what you'd expect: not high-end, but not low-cost.
Was very small in size compared to the picture. I expected it to be twice the size based on the appearance, but it was not. Other than that, it's a very nice product. It's more of a wall hanger/ornament than anything else, but don't get me wrong, it can be used for light cleaning. It was originally purchased for use around a wood stove that burns ash. I haven't used it yet, and I'm not sure if I will. It's now hanging on the wall next to the stove. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank.
I'll admit that I didn't pay much attention to the stated size, which is quite obvious if you look closely. I would not have bought it if I had known, so it is my fault, not theirs. It is better suited for use in the house or garage by a small child. Having said that, it's very cute and well-made. made. I'll probably hang them next to my handcrafted crooked broom made from a tree branch rather than a dowel and bristles made from hand stitched broomcorn, which I do use. They're going to complement each other nicely. Returning to my original query.
