It does, in fact, lock into place. When in use, it maintains its upright position.
It should be flat; otherwise, during shipping, it may deform. br>If this does not help or you do not want to do this, please contact us for a free exchange.

China, in my opinion, is a great country.

highly suggested I just finished putting my new broom together after it arrived. The sturdy metal poles were simple to put together, and the broom fits perfectly inside the dustpan. Sweeping is a piece of cake! The only thing that could make this purchase even better is if it came with a handsome butler. After searching the delivery box for the butler, I informed my husband that he would be my new butler and handed him the broom. That did not sit well with him!.
Except for the massive super sticky sticker on the top of the dustpan, it appears to be a decent product. My first experience with this product was 45 minutes of scrubbing, and the adhesive is still stuck to the wall. As seen in the illustration. If you can't make a sticker easy to remove, don't put one on it in the first place. "This product is fantastic!" no one has ever said to themselves. It's just that I wish it came with a sticker.
Chores are completed more quickly as a result of the changes.
We recently relocated, and I forgot to take my lobby dustpan and broom with me. (First and foremost, if you want to save your back while cleaning, a lobby dustpan is the way to go. ) From the longer handle to the container that collects the swept trash - Though they are more expensive than traditional brooms/mops, the value to cost difference makes them more than worthwhile, and they are just as easy to store with your brooms/mops. )br>br>In the following ways, this set is better than my previous one: The front of the dust pan has an angled rubber liner that allows you to sweep in even the tiniest particles. (Because my old one didn't come with a liner, I had to do the "sweep - retrace your steps sweep - dance of "pull back" Next, the dustpan has sturdy teeth at the top, so you can "comb" the broom with the teeth when it collects hair, dust, or lint that would otherwise get tangled in the bristles. (If not, you'll have to grab and pull with your hand, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but if you can avoid it, do so. ) why not? This is also beneficial to me because I suffer from allergies. )br>br>Lastly, because this is set with clips, it can be stored very compactly together (or separately on hooks if preferred). The quality of the materials is excellent - a dustpan made of plastic Metal handles that aren't too heavy and don't have a cheap feel to them - It also has nylon bristles that are dense but flexible, making it easy to sweep under furniture. All parts should be rinsed and dried. I don't mind the narrower brush compared to some brooms because I don't think a wider brush makes for easier cleaning in the house. On a daily basis, it's easy to pop out and clean up. br>br>The ONLY reason I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 star rating (really, I wish I could give it a 4) is because of the ending. The dustpan had a large manufacturer sticker/label (which covered the entire top of the pan, earning it five stars). ) that was difficult to remove due to its adhesive. Is it possible that the hot weather played a role in this? (It came well-packaged and was incredibly simple to assemble. ) So I just picked and scrubbed at it for about 30 minutes. Knowing that there are alternatives (such as thin cardboard sleeves or four glue dots in the corners) makes it noteworthy as a consumer. br>br>However, this will not deter me from purchasing a second set so that I can have two in my home. (Because there are other types of brooms, I'd use it outside or in an unfinished garage. ) For scrubbing at some dried dirt/spots, use a push broom or one with slightly stiffer bristles - That'd be more appropriate for the job. ) However, I'm very pleased with this one for indoor use.
You can remove a piece from the dustpan to make a larger broom handle, but then the dustpan is too short. I believe they missed the boat by not including one more extension to give you the option of a longer broom. When you put it back in the dustpan and lock it in place for storage, the bristles bend permanently. When removing the broom, it is extremely inconvenient to have several bristles that are perpendicular to the broom. As time goes on, more and more bristles become perma-permanent. bent is proving to be a nuisance. It's possible that I'll have to sever my ties with them. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> br>March of this year - Following my review, I received an email with a more durable version of the product that included extensions. I'm extremely happy. When picking up larger messes, I found it difficult to lean over with the short handle. The seller got in touch with me and gave me the information I needed. Customer service is one of my favorite things, and they went above and beyond.
This dustpan has exceeded my expectations. Set up the broom! It enables me to clean the floors without the need for any assistance. Because of my limited mobility- Before, I needed assistance - But now I don't have to bend to finish this task. It's much safer and more effective for me, and I've regained some of my independence thanks to this upright dustpan and lobby broom. I absolutely adore it!.
My mother was taken aback by the news. This dustpan has a long handle, which I like. She's never had one before, and it's wonderful not to have to bend over. My favorite feature is the rubber edging on the dustpan that meets the floor. It does a fantastic job. Rather than the 'ol backup-sweep,' I only have to sweep the debris into it ONE TIME. sweep- dance as a support act It feels great! br>One criticism is that the pole's handle section unscrews easily, but this is easily fixed with some threadlocker. The handle portion is referred to as an "extension," but it simply raises the broom to a comfortable height for most people. The dustpan handle is a little shorter than I'd like; I'm 5'6" and it reaches my upper abdomen. There's still plenty of height for easy use, but the photo makes it appear that the pan isn't as tall as it appears. By treating the "extension pole" as an accessory (you'll want it on), you can make a broom match.
Update: In less than 6 months after purchase, a critical thin plastic component broke. It was extremely useful, so this is a major disappointment. It broke when I picked it up, moved it, and placed it in a sweeping area on our floor. I'm not sure duct tape and glue will be enough to keep this together! br>br>So far, everything has been perfect! What else can I say? It's simple to use.
