Questions & Answers
About the ingredient I can only tell you that it consists of orange oil, naphtha (petroleum) hydro treated heavy, and that it must be kept away from food, drink, animal feed stuff, and that if swallowed, medical attention should be sought You can find this information on the back of a polish bottle, but you might also find it useful at the "www." website. I am Orangeglo. Visit com and maybe you will find out more. However, aside from the above, it is a great product which I have been using on all my furniture for years.
This product is what I use to clean antique furniture to remove old dust, or ugly patina, and it really leaves the piece clean and looking great. It usually comes with a thin wire sponge, but since I use it to remove hard stuff, I use a wire sponge with it to do so. The solution will remove fingerprints and grease, of course. For this purpose, I wipe the oil away with a clean paper towel. There's nothing I dislike about the product. I hope this helps in any way.
Several natural ingredients are found in Howard's Orange Oil, including garlic, citrus, and peppermint The product does not contain silicone or linseed oil, but it does contain petroleum distillate and contains a warning label that indicates this. My experience with this product is that I have been using it for many years.
My house does not contain any young children, however, if it did, I would use the Orange Oil with no hesitation. The surface dries (absorbs) rather quickly and leaves a hard concrete appearance. I hope this helps in any way.

It's so awesome to use Howard Orange Oil Furniture Polish and Cleaner! Sun bleached and dry, my house's front doors look like they were in the sun for days. It was about 10 years ago that I stained them, but there was no varnish or sealant applied. Early in the morning, the sun shines on the door. Rain can't get to them as they are covered with a porch covering. As a result of watching videos and researching different products, I ordered this orange oil to try and recondition the wood before deciding if I should use a gel stain or Howard Restore. End the sentence. The plan was possibly to use my orbital palm sander to sand the surfaces and this cleaner to clean them. Sanded the floor plate to make sure it would function properly. After it was cleaned up nicely, I wiped it with an orange oil that I put on a lint-free cloth A free towel is included. A beautiful wood surface absorbed the oil and was a pleasure to see. To take a leap of faith, I decided not to sand one door before wiping it down. I was blown away again with the way the wooden boards absorbed the oil. This door still looks amazing! I did both doors, as I was so happy with how it turned out. Even though it didn't take long (30 minutes in total), I decided to clean and sand the wooden chair on my porch as well. Although I do not think I necessary sanded that part, not a big deal. As for the chair, it looks great. The way it looks is still making me laugh. My goal is to seal and stain the doors within the next few weeks. For now, this looks much better than it did before I stained it. I'm probably going to stain the chair as well. How much is $8? The bottle was half full, and I only used half of it. I am going to use this to clean my cabinets In case things change, I'll update this post.
This is a story I would like to share, as I have used Howard Orange Oil for years. The wet towel that my son hung on the headboard of an antique bed really hurt me because I felt bad for ruining It was okay to worry about him, I told him. In these pictures, you can see what Howard Orange Oil looked like before and after application. The words he used I'm amazed at how fast you did that.
My comparison is Howard's orange oil wood polish versus " Orange Glo furniture polish ". I recently bought several expensive solid wood pieces, so I bought the " Orange Glo " polish from my local hardware store. Despite the fact that this product was greasy, it actually worked, but the shine would dry up and you would end up looking like you did nothing in the first place. The furniture polish I bought from the grocery store did not work well. This was my first experience with Howard products and I am certainly happy with it. What a great job! The shine is longer lasting and it's not as greasy as other products. After applying, I use a soft cloth to apply, and after allowing it to sit for a few hours, I buff it off with a clean cloth to keep the shine. Until now, I've only used Howard's moisturizing oil because I threw out the orange glow oil and the pledge moisturizing oil.
That's a really cool stuff. Wood floors that date back to 1946 are in a state of degradation. Until I found this product, I wanted to cry when the liquid floor wax ceased to be made. I had to scrub it off of my floors but now they are shiny and colorful again. My method is to mop, spray and wipe this stuff after they dry and then I walk on them. The photo is after I had just mopped half the floor six hours earlier and has been walking on them as well, so it isn't a greasy-looking shine.
This product might be an imitation from Howard Products, or maybe one that is made by another manufacturer. It was attached to a pair of shoes I bought a couple of months ago, and something about the label didn't look quite right. Having used it just now, I noticed that I didn't get the usual orange oil scent, but rather a slightly chemical petroleum one. It does contain petroleum, as I saw on the label after I reviewed it a second time. It is pure orange oil that Howard Orange Oil is made of. OK, since I wrote this, I did some research on the topic. Ace Hardware had the same Howard Orange Oil that I had bought through Amazon. I went to my usual spot, where I always get my Howard Orange Oil, but it was now available at Ace Hardware. Having changed the formula, I called Howard's to find out if there had been any changes. indeed. The state of California filed a lawsuit against them for the excessively high level of VOCs in orange oil. As you might know, most states have made it illegal to add orange oil to cleaning products, so the original product was discontinued. A maximum of 3% orange oil can be added to cleaning products now. As long as we choose to, we can still use aromatherapy grade orange oil. A year ago, I bought a few of the originals on sale at Ace. Their last stock of produce must have been this. In retrospect, I would have bought all the merchandise on the shelf if I knew! The very helpful Howard's person gave me the hint about aroma therapy oil, so I went online to see if I could get it The answer is yes. The price of a gallon of oil is 32 dollars. On Amazon, you can get it for just $99 with free shipping. That comes to just over $4 for 16 oz. if I'm doing it right. For the petroleum, I just paid $10. For the cleaning polish in the future, I will order the pure orange oil!.
They're amazing. It was the same day that I purchased a number of Howard products and they are all fantastic. There is some furniture that I inherited from my grandfather that it has brought back to life. We bought an old turntable through Facebook Marketplace, and it had a pretty heavy smoking smell, like a lot of things of the 50s and 60s. Once the soap and this oil polish are applied to it, it is almost as good as This stuff is a must for anyone doing wood work.
This product works great on anything that is wood, such as cabinetry, doors, baseboards, window sills, and trim etc. Most of those surfaces are protected with a polyurethane or similar coating, but this product works on virtually any surface that is oak. The varnish brings out the proper color on bare wood, makes them shine a bit and does a good job at not collecting dust and grime. It smells great, and I even used some that I applied to my hardwood floors. (WARNING it is quite slippery if you use it on hardwood floors). The product is good value, and I plan on using it in future.
