Questions & Answers

Animals are not used in the process?

I have an odd Since this isn't for living things, but for non-living things, then what I would guess is that it would be a good idea There has been no testing on animals for this living furniture. I've been using it on my oak furniture for 100 years and it's pretty effective.

It can be used on wooden spoons, etc, and bowls without having to wash them first?

It is toxic to use lemon oil. When using Mineral Oil on a wooden surface that comes into contact with food, always use pharma grade Mineral Oil (available at grocery and pharmacy stores). This was the advice I received years ago while refinishing a wooden butcher block table, and I spoke to the manufacturer for that purpose.

How is this product made? What are its ingredients?

A copy of the Guardsman Safety Data Sheet can be viewed in PDF format on the company's website. of the label states that the product contains a "Proprietary additive" along with an "Alkanoate ester." It is a trade secret in both cases to withhold the exact amounts. In addition to eye and skin contact warnings, inhalation and ingestion warnings are also provided.

Cloudiness is supposed to be a feature of this product?

If it is cloudy, it is because it was improperly stored or something happened during the shipping process to you or the manufacturing process?

A nourishing wood cleaner and finisher
5/5

Natural wood can be brought to life with this product! My Dad uses lemon oil to restore the teak on his sailboat every year and I stumbled upon it because he uses it on his sailboat too. Honestly, it really nourishes the wood and isn't greasy and it penetrates deep into it. This product is also great for cutting boards and other Additionally, it smells great! I can see this becoming a favorite. Obviously, this product has been around for a long time, so that says something about it!.

I was able to make them look better than anything else I had done
5/5

This is a dining table centerpiece that I use. There wasn't a lot of finish on the table to begin with, so it's an older table. As soon as it was washed and dried, it started to really show signs of abuse and aging. it on my table and it gave it a fresh look. Our cabinet doors made of wood can be treated with the product as well. I was able to make them look better than anything else I had done. If you are going to use it on chairs, you should wipe them down really well afterward. This will make the chairs slippery and leave a oily residue on your clothes. If possible, wipe the oil down with a soft dry cloth after wiping them down. Let the oil dry for a few.

While it is advertised as being lemon oil, and it says lemon oil on the bottle, it doesn't smell anything like any lemon oil I have used in the past, and I have been using it since we bought an amish hutch over 10 years ago
3/5

There is a strong petroleum scent coming from the oil- These chemicals are based on petroleum. The Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil is not real, and I am very disappointed in this brand. Lemon oil is a great product, however, this Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil is not. It's just a knock-off. Don't fall for it In the off-position Don't waste your money on imitation products!.

A good product at an affordable price
5/5

Since I'm a martial artist, and weapon collector, I have a lot of items that come from the Philippines, and Having said that, as I live in California where there are periods of drought, I need to keep my wooden sword sheaths, handles, and Kali sticks moistened so that they won't dry out and crack. You have the same right if you create a musical instrument out of Hawaiian wood, or any wood that comes from a tropical island. It has been raining a lot lately too, so this is especially suitable for the maintenance needed in the environment that I live in. Something like this with beeswax is what I hear works best, but those products are much more expensive. This was affordable, and it worked well. The handles can be seen in the photo below. This sword looks like it is made from Kamagong wood, and the other seems to be made from some other kind of wood, but they both Karambits or Lihoks, with their handles made of some kind of Indonesian wood, are popular among Filipinos. The stick is made from Gijo, a wood that has its own natural oil, but I oiled it just a little bit too.

Teak is a great material
4/5

An outdoor furniture finish like this is perfect for teak. Although it is rated five stars, I do have concerns about how long the UV protection lasts in California's We will need to apply it three times throughout the year.

Give old furniture a new lease on life
5/5

A new look for wood furniture can be achieved in this old-fashioned way. In a recent move, I used lemon wood oil to rub down each piece of new wood furniture. In addition to improving the look of the wood, it hides scratches while drawing attention to its beauty. The same adhesive is used as well on my stone counters and flooring. To restore the leather's shine, clean a dry rag with a little bit of this oil and rub it into the furniture. It basically restores oils that have naturally evaporated over time. Your furniture, leather, and stone work will definitely appreciate the time and effort you put into it. There's nothing like some elbow grease and rubbing to get the job done. This is such a painful process, but it's worth every minute. I will use this one last time. Watch the beauty of the wood paneling emerge when you use a clean, fresh sponge mophead on the paneling and just mop a little at a time. You can use this stuff for a lot of things.
