live in Florida, which has a lot of humidity, so I left my rolling mill uncovered for way longer than I should have. I use the mill to make jewelry. As I was using the mill in spurts, I noticed that the top roller appeared to have rust. I researched cleaning videos and settled on purchasing the Simichrome Polish in hopes of successfully cleaning the surface. It turned out as if nothing had ever built up on my rollers, as there were no signs of any buildup whatsoever. Following that, I used it to clean a few of my tools and I was extremely pleased with how well they cleaned. A thin layer of this polish is always applied as the final touch. There is no need to wipe it clean afterwards. It leaves a fine protective coating on the metal. I bought protective covers and large bags of rechargeable dessicants to store underneath the roller covers and inside my tool boxes. This polish is so good that I will never be without it, and I'll reorder before it runs I've never had a better investment in caring for my tools than I have made with this one.

A rebuild I was working on required me to polish the rims of a bicycle's rims and other components with Simichrome Metal Polish. When I first used Simichrome polish 48 years ago, it worked just as well as it does today. My part-time job at a motorcycle shop at that time was to help me pay my way through college. Upon buying a truckload of unused Kawasakis in a port city warehouse, the owner discovered they were one year old and had never been uncrated. regular guy assembled them and then handed them over. Armed with a large tube of Simichrome Metal Polish and a bundle of new shop rags, I was able to finish the job. It was amazing to see how sparkled those Kawasakis looked. I polished all the oxidized aluminum on the engine and the chrome steel on the exhaust. Every one of those Kawasakis had Since then, whenever I have metal to polish, I get a tube of Simichrome Metal Polish to do the job.

One of the guys who works in the guitar industry used this product to remove scratches from a guitar top on Utube. As a matter of fact, he swore to In an attempt to make sure if would work, I tried it on my Martin guitar that my daughter strummed while wearing a bracelet so it had surface scratches beneath the pick guard. It's for kids. By using Simichrome, you can eliminate scratches or reduce them to the point where you can hardly notice As I did not want too much finish removed, I applied several times in circular motion and in a sparing manner to prevent overdoing it. It looks like a great guitar!.

I love love love this. It has been in my repertoire since a friend showed it to me to remove the satin finish from a 48" sword blade ten years ago. I don't know what it will do if it does that! Metals can be polished using it, and stains on metal can be removed using this. My pistol feed ramps, motorcycle parts, jewelry, and finely machined parts have all been polished with it. It's my go-to tool for any job. As far as stuff goes. In order to use my 3-way converter, I had to purchase one Invest in a pack of toilet paper because it will last I keep losing the tube but I can't seem to find it! Suddenly I am in possession of Perhaps I will keep them longer this time around!.

This product has been a companion to me for more than four decades and has always worked like a charm. The product has been part of my life since the 1970s. The first thing I used it for was to remove the bluing from motorcycle exhaust pipes. Watches , tools , jewelry , knives , swords , any metal products that need polishing - I use it on them. However, the price has increased substantially since 1970.

There are some silver spoons in my possession that have dark spots. People in the silver world love this product, according to what I read online. Even though it polished things a bit, I usually use silver polish on them and it does a much better job than this stuff. I'll always keep it around because it polishes other metals. Brass might be more suitable for it.
