It is simply a matter of pulling some off a wad of can and using it I generally clean the jewelry with a damp cloth afterward, since it does a good job. At a great price, this is an awesome item.

However, now the wadding, which was once thick with substantial fiber, is now thinner like a synthetic fiber pillow filler. A light layer of cleaner was not heavily applied to it. In order to remove the tarnish on sterling silver, several hours of elbow grease was required. This was an easy task in the past. To make sure the cleaner hadn't just fallen to the bottom of the container, I mixed it all around, but it was equally dry on the outside and on the inside. That is the last time I will purchase this.

Over my entire career of 24 years as an active duty Navy officer, I used this product frequently. is capable of restoring the luster to brass and will clean up pretty much any metal item. It will make the painted objects look dirty. Don't use it on painted objects.

Taking the time to work with this product will not fail you if you polish metal every so often and take time to work with it. The work is great and the value is great. I was raised with this product where it was used for our semi.
