Questions & Answers

What is the difference between this glass wax and the original glass wax?

The answer is no. Compared to this, it isn't even close. I am sorry to tell you

It may be possible to use the stencils to decorate the windows for Christmas like I used to do ?

The thicker the application, the better

Does this manufacturer make the original Glass Wax, since it does not seem to work as well as the original?

Even though I have a Glass Wax can from the early 70s, it seems a long time ago. The Gold Seal Company made it. The city of Bismarck, North Dakota. The only time I use it is for the toughest jobs, and that is all I've got. There are more items I am looking for, but I doubt I will find them. That one sounds better, but this one is almost as good

What if I want to use this on tempered glass like my bathtub ?

As far as I know, it is, since I have used it on impact glass and my shower door and they both worked fine. I would expect only the manufacturer to be able to directly answer this question.

The Penetrating Glass Cleaner and Wax does an outstanding job
5/5

I purchased this product to use on my automotive glass and it works really well to get rid of smudges and smears that are otherwise hard to remove. The only thing to remember is that if you use this on a glass tabletop, your place will be smudge-free As if a poltergeist is blowing your stuff off the table, floor mats and other crap will fly from your table. It's quite hilarious.

The windows look clean and sparkling
5/5

My husband was hoping the original Glass Was in a can was still available, so I bought this for him. The first order I made was just to try it out, and I will be ordering more in the near future. Smudges and spots were not found on the windows after this was used. This is an excellent product.

It's far safer to see it than to believe it if you don't! Did you know that the windows of your car can get damaged? You should be extra careful if one of the members of your group smokes
5/5

In my opinion, depending on just how bad your windows are, and my windows were pretty bad, this stuff not only saves you time, even if you have to do it twice like me, but also keeps rain out! Tiny droplets of rain form then roll off the roof. It's only a matter of trying it if you don't believe me!.

A little sparkle in your day You should sparkle
5/5

My dazzling glass centerpiece in the photo was left to me by my mother. While I could recall how sparkling it was in the 50s, I had no clue how to recreate it today. My first attempt was using vinegar and salt The items you will need are water, blue window cleaner, soap, and a bit of elbow grease It always disappointed me when I tried to drink water. When I remembered glass wax, it all came back to me. I was able to use this to suit my needs since it is not the same as the old brand. Besides being thin, pink, carnauba liquid that goes on easily, dries quickly, wipes off easily, and leaves a lovely shine, it also works great on my Lucite candles. Applying the cleaner with soft cotton cloth and restoring the sparkle easily with microfiber cloth were the two methods I utilized.

It was not at all what I had The hard dust that does tend to settle in the air here causes windows to get cloudy after a time, resulting in a white On top of this, when I water the small area of vegetation that I like to keep, there are hard water stains
3/5

Usually, I use citric acid to remove the hard water stains, and I do this twice a year on average. The problem with that is you can't get this product on the vegetation and expect the vegetation to survive. I had hoped it would help remove the hard water stains, but I found it did nothing. I tried using the product after cleaning of the hard window stains to see how it worked, but they were still a little hazy. So, I tried using the product again after that. After the second application, one of the five windows actually looked quite good, so I went on to test another application on the other four. It took me a lot of elbow grease to buff and polish them, but I must admit that all of them are a lot Though they don't look brand-new, I can actually see a notable difference in them. It is very difficult for me to compare this product to a product I used to use from my home state, also called Glass Wax, so the whole problem here is that I am comparing this product to this one. This stuff does not really compare to the original stuff, which we used to use to clean just about anything off of glass and chrome, regardless of water stains. You can improve the appearance of your windows a lot if you put a bit of muscle into it. Although it's not the miracle product that many associate with it, it does have some positive aspects. In case you have not used the old Glass Wax before, then the product looks interesting. There was a disappointment for those of us who gave it a try.

Works like a charm! When attempting to remove Jurassic aged water spots from my car, I tried lemon juice, distilled vinegar, distilled vinegar and dawn, light steel wool (did not like that idea), numerous kinds of water spot removers, rubbing compound, and dancing on I have no idea! The water I use comes from a rural well with a filter on the pump, but there are plenty of minerals clinging to the well
5/5

Water spots are something I tried fighting years ago, and eventually Things happen again, so now it's time for it again. Observe the Enter, Bring It On hard water spot remover, The Wheaton Company. You should polish your glass. I tried other combinations, but nothing worked as well as this one. It turns out to be a good result. After following the directions, I used a machine to apply the glass polish and remove the spots. I repeated the process three times. The surface was polished with a machine and then buffed with a hand file. Sure, it took some time, but I like the end result. Then they'll be very very good within a couple of more performances. Afterwards, I will polish my headlights every time I wash my car by hand, as I've learned to do. It is hard to get a sense of how well this worked from the pictures but maybe you can get a glimmer of it by studying them. On this hot, hazy day, the stripes were created by reflections form the corrugated roof on the barn. I've tried just about everything else, and this works for me better than everything else I've I have now become accustomed to it!.

You can buy it right now
5/5

This is an investment you will never regret. There's a lot of effort involved here, but the results are extremely rewarding. This bottle did the trick in cleaning my shower doors and windows. I am selling my house and wanted to clean up the shower doors and windows. We looked at the shower doors and windows as if they were brand new.

For use in making Glass Wax stencils, does not work
4/5

For those of you who remember these stencils from the 1950s and 1960s, you should know that this product does not work well for building I tried to stencil with it, but it was not suitable since it was pink and scented like the original Glass Wax product. As a positive side effect, cleaning the mess was easy, and the window was clean after wiping my mistakes off. The Gel-Alko stencils can be done with these if you buy them It is also available on Amazon, Gloss No Streak Glass Wax polish. The stencils I created with that product were very effective.
