On eyeglasses with special lens coatings, I would be hesitant to use any cleaning solution. I would recommend using a microfiber cloth when cleaning those types of expensive lenses. However, if you're looking for something to clean the lens of a cheap pair of sunglasses or reading glasses, I wouldn't hesitate to use the glass cleaner. Just make sure to dry them with a soft cloth rather than a paper towel.
For decades, I've had glass stovetops. I use a razor blade to remove stubborn spots, Hope's Perfect Sink to clean a heavily soiled glass stovetop and stove front and sides, and Hope's Perfect Glass for quick cleanups at any time; I also use this glass cleaner for tile/linoleum floors, all bathroom surfaces, my glasses, car, and other surfaces.

It's the first time I've tried it on tint film. It's what I use to keep my laminate flooring clean. For them, this is perfect.

Simple Green mixed 30: X 2 in 1 and X 2 in 1 1 cup of regular tap water br>I examined the ability to clean (remove: road grime, bugs, water spots, and soap scum), and how easy it is to get it streak-free afterwards (note that this is based on my car windshield; I used an LED light through it in a dark garage to look for those streaks that only show up in the evening sunlight). Simple Green (Not even a prayer)br>To reiterate, this is based on looking through glass with an LED light, on a mirror or appliance glass, and all of these, with the exception of the Simple Green, appeared "streak-like. " less". br>Only minor streaking was left by the Stoner, which was easily fixed with a light buffing with a paper towel or microfiber cleaning cloth. The Stoner worked best when I kept wiping with a slightly damp towel rather than a dry towel, whereas the others required a completely dry towel for the final wipe. The Windex was significantly behind, and it took a lot of effort to get the streaks out, but it was doable. The Rain- Because it was laying down some sealant with it, X basically helps itself as you buff it, but it does require a fair amount of buffing. The Hope's, wow, talk about a disaster; I just kept wiping and buffing and it just kept streaking, as if it had left oil behind, but it eventually cleaned up. That cannot be said of the Simple Green, streaky city, which I had to clean up with the Stoner. It could have been the tap water (we have some fairly hard water here), but I didn't have any distilled water to test it with. br>br>Overall, Hope's was a disaster, and I couldn't see why I should continue to use it on my car. I'll use it up on bathroom mirrors and such for the high price of a bottle of this stuff, but I don't understand the high praise for it. br>br>In the end, I'll stick with Windex around the house, but for my car windshield, I've switched to Stoner as a finishing touch after cleaning the exterior glass (with things like car shampoo, de-icer, etc. ). Depending on the severity, use a greaser or a clay bar. It works well enough on its own for fingerprints and chemical film on the inside of the glass.
It's very simple to use! It does exactly what it says on the tin! I had no trouble getting rid of the grime, and there was also NO STREAKING! Great price my sister did her very large windows at her house and sent me a message with a photo saying easy Peezy no joke it was as a result I bought some from my mother I'm not sure if she shoes yet and I bought for me excellent price I didn't even want to wait until my Windex was gone move out for Windex this is my absolute favorite I will use it in my car for the windows in there I have a right-hand disability, but thanks to this product, I can clean the windows without difficulty. I'm not sure what's in it, but it smells good.
Window and mirror work has always been a chore for me. My husband has a knack for them and has tried to teach me how to do them properly, but I have never been able to get all of the streaks. Our home in Arizona has a lot of glass (windows) on the inside. All of the streaks and misses are highlighted by the AZ sun. My fantasy was to hire a window cleaner on a monthly basis. Above the vanities in my bathrooms are 5' x 10' mirrors that show all the water splashes from sinks and streaks from cleaning a steamy area, as well as allowing you to see yourself after a shower. Those chores around the house used to terrify me. I used my steam cleaner last year to virtually make the windows disappear and the mirrors gleam, but I don't always want to go through this big of a clean, so I bought Hope! br>IT IS OUTSTANDING. I used basic Bounty paper towels and had no trouble getting a nice streak-free result. a blank canvas I finished with a final wipe with these inexpensive ($1) cotton loop hand towels that I keep on hand for just such occasions. Perfection in every way. br>I wish I'd discovered Hope sooner because now I can see clearly out my sunny windows and never have to look in a streaky mirror.
I squandered time looking for Perfect Glass at the two largest big box stores near me. It was once carried by one of them, but it is no longer available locally. Amazon, thank you very much. It's no surprise that the big-box retailers are struggling. Perfect Glass is my favorite because it doesn't leave a residue that attracts smoke and dust, and it doesn't streak when used properly. It's definitely good stuff.
On both the inside and outside of my windshield, this stuff left streaks. Paper towels, newspaper, and a brand new microfiber cloth were all tried. When I attempted to return it, Amazon advised me to keep it.
Windex equals performance. Complete honesty: Cleaning windows is one of my least favorite chores. br>br>After being dissatisfied with my old bottle of Windex, I went to Amazon to look for a better alternative, and after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this product. The bottle arrived on time, but it was missing a cap and only had a foil seal. Because the seal was not broken, there was new leakage. br>br>The results were similar to Windex, and the smell was slightly urine-like; I cleaned 12 windows and 2 glass doors in total. I sprayed the area, scrubbed it with a paper towel, and then wiped it clean and dry. On most of the windows, I had to go over the process at least twice. br>br>Either I'm not very good at cleaning windows or my expectations of what clean are too high. When the bottle runs out, I'll most likely switch back to Windex.
There are no streaks whatsoever. We've experimented with a number of products, including some that are designed for use at home. On our glass tables and windows, we used vinegar solutions. To some degree, they all work, but Hope's is far superior. There is no streaking, and you don't need as much cleaner.
I decided to purchase a few of the large bottles after reading the Amazon reviews. This is absolutely incredible. When I detail one of my cars, the glass is always the last thing I do. I poured 12 ounces of this into a brand new empty spray bottle and squirted a few squirts on the windshield. I use The Rag Company's waffle weave towels to dry. The windshield was gleaming after just one quick pass. There are no streaks or smudges on the glass, just a clean, gleaming surface. Nothing could ever beat the blue stuff sold by the tanker car load, in a million years. I really enjoy it. Great, quick Amazon delivery, and the cap was sealed with a very strong anti-leak tape. Without a doubt, 5 STARS. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
