No harsh chemicals seem to be contained in the Oh Yuk, therefore it cannot be the cause of the leak. During the cleaning process, I have gotten it on my skin and I haven't experienced any burning or irritation, even though I have extremely The OYUK may have cleaned off some of the gunk that was sealing and "hiding" the leak in the pipe, but it probably didn't eat away at it and have caused the leak. My experience with Oh Yuk has been completely positive, no problems with it, and I am very happy with the results. There should be no black flecks in the hot tub water, and no pinkish tinges Mold has grown in our jetted tub since using this product. It is by far the best cleaner I've currently used in our jetted tub. I tried everything from a concoction of bleach and dishwasher detergent to several commercial products that did not resolve the biofilm issue. My only successful experience with Oh Yuk was when it came to combating acne.
What amount of green solution do you use in your washing machine? Can you use it in your dryer?
Whenever I clean, I always let the cleaner run for 15 minutes Let the tub stand for 30 minutes. Drain and clean the ring around the tub then. Make sure there is cold water in the machine and let it run for 15 minutes If you wait another 30 minutes, it usually removes even more scum. After you wipe the tube down again, you can then wash the jets again with fresh water. Depending on how dirty the jets appear, you may need to run a second cycle with cleaner/water and fresh water. There is no doubt that this product works. You might need to run the tub through several times and rinse it several times to get it clean like mine.
Hot tub and spa maintenance is outlined in blue A jetted tub that is drained after use instead of jetted tubs that are rinsed

I bought it for my jetted bathtub and I use it regularly. Despite new house with jetted bath, we just bought a house with no other They could have cleaned it, but I don't know. The sixth round has begun for me. I am disgusted by the gunk that is coming out. Rounds 3, 4, and 5 of the game are represented in the pictures Whether this can ever be cleaned is a question I wonder about. There is a possibility that I'll have to buy a totally This is one I have used most frequently!.
Water would back up over your ankles and drain very slowly in a tub with an old slow waste line. As a result, the jets of the tub were always soaked I managed to fix the waste line and make sure the water is draining It was a bad jet flight. As a result, we could never run the pump because so much of it would often spill OH Yuk was used twice by my husband and I. The first time we were amazed by how much came out of it. I cleaned the tub and ran it again with the Oh Yuk. As a result, the second run was successful. This is the first time we have been able to use the tub properly after so many years. Oh Yuk, thanks for your help! I've got stuff working!.
My first step was to purchase the small bottle and run the cycles according to the instructions. During the first cycle, I was sick to my stomach. The jets came back with a lot of nasty black gunk. After going through the small bottle, I ran any daily cycles for three days for the "homemade" cleaning solution using dishwasher powder and bleach. I waited for the gallon size to arrive before I tried this method. As a result of very little gunk coming out of the jets, the report was very misleading. Having just received the gallon yesterday, I thought I would run one more tub of Oh Yuk for safety. I was surprised at how much dirt it brought out. Until I see no more jets coming out of the Oh Yuk, I will continue to run the Oh Yuk daily. After using it for a few weeks, I'm very happy with how it worked and will continue to buy it as a maintenance cleaner.
Owners do not leave a record of how often the furniture is cleaned or used. Since I haven't been using it regularly for 4 years I'm not aware of the requirement for cleaning until I had two jets leak and had to replace As a result of the repair I researched cleaning options, even though I had never noticed any foreign material or discolored water when I used it. The better alternative sounded like Oh Yuk, so I bought a gallon and got it all working. It does not produce any odor when I use it, and it forms only a thin layer of foam on the surface, even after running its jets for half an hour, so you don't have to worry about it overflowing. On my first wash cycle, I had just a light brown discolored foam accumulate around the walls of the tub, but it wiped easily with paper towels after the tub was drained and I sprayed a tub/tile cleaner I bought at the grocery store on it. After three more cleaning cycles, the tan foam has diminished slightly and there are just a few bits of hair left, but each cycle results in less and less discolored foam after the tub has been Oh Yuk is working, but maybe taking a little longer than I anticipated to remove all of the accumulations. Having used my laptop now for 9 years and not cleaning for 4 of those years, the fact that it has not been cleaned seems not so As a result, I will now run a cleaning cycle after using the tub. I think I'll keep doing it every time until I don't get any more discolored foam, and then I'll back off on how often I do it. Even though I use much less than 2 ounces, the gallon lasts a very long time. The amount of Oh Yuk per cycle was increased -added) than the container's instructions recommend because my tub is a bit larger than most jetted tubs. I recommend this product based on its effectiveness and ease of use.
To keep your jetted tub as clean as possible, you should use the Oh Yuk product every time you use it. As I mentioned above, I'm eager to get a few more chances to clean and eventually get to use a jetted tub. In my opinion, this product is a good choice.
As directed I used the full gallon of product until gone and discovered along the way that when it is added to water and used with the jets turned on, it creates a foam on the surface that suspends algae on top so that they do not go As a result, the top of the soup has dark rings around it This product was also marketed as a cleaning and sterilizing agent that would kill algae and prevent its growth in the pipes, but that was not the case. My jetted bath tub uses broke down every time I used it, and I had to replace The problem is that it doesn't happen often enough to avoid growth Despite not doing the full job it should, I gave it two stars because it does some work with the algae.
After disinfecting the tub with dishwasher powder, I ran it for 15 minutes and I saw a little ring around it so I didn't worry too much about it. As soon as it was done draining, I wiped down the tub surround and poured in 4 ounces It took 15 minutes to run it. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed There was no way I could eat that! As a result of running for 15 minutes, these are the remains. This is disgusting! I am amazed at how good this stuff is! My plan is probably to repeat the process as many times as it takes until this film stops I would highly recommend this product!.
A jetted tub is in the new house we moved into. I ran it multiple times and black stuff blew out of the jets every time. After removing the jets and cleaning them inside and out, I reassembled them. My attempts at every method were in vain My readings told me to use bleach, dishwasher detergent, and vinegar. I couldn't get anything to work. The black junk blew out each and every time. It was really important for me to be able to use the tub, so I decided to do During the first round, a lot of black stuff came out as well as a lot of brown stuff. A round of Oh Yuk followed by some powdered cascade followed by a drain of the tub. After the first round of jets, another round of grimy slimy stuff came out of the jets, but that time it was clear. On the other hand, the film was a lighter brown in color. Running the cascade and bleach for about 30 minutes followed by draining the tub, then running the tub for 30 The jets haven't blown out anything else yet. It is routine for me to do a treatment of just the Oh Yuk once a month, whether or not I use the tub, just to keep the pipes clean. Note To add a little flavor, here is a note We stayed in a hotel that had jets in the tubs, so I used a small bottle of cleaner to clean them before we used them. It is best not to get into a hotel jetted tub ever again! When it comes to ignorance, it can be bliss.
