I purchased this insert two months ago for this year's "extreme" 58-degree Miami winter nights. It was wonderful until the nights returned to the high 70s, which I now despise. Now that we're sweating profusely and keeping the AC set at 70 degrees at night (I can't imagine how hot it will be during the summer), I'm looking for a thinner insert for my cover once again. This comforter is ideal for cool weather, but not for hot weather, in my opinion.
It has loops on the cover that can be tied. However, the ties are missing from the cover I purchased.

Just make sure you MEASURE to ensure you get the right size duvet cover for the duvet insert you purchase! Duvet covers, inserts, comforters, blankets, and bedspreads are not all the same. The same can be said for coverlets. For example, a "Queen" size insert could be as large as 6-inches in length. 8" bigger or smaller than your existing "Queen" duvet cover, or vice versa!
Nothing prevents you from using it, even if it is a "down alternative." I suppose it varies from person to person. For the summer, I take mine off my bed and put them in the closet. I suppose that's all there is to it. If you want/need a quilt (of any kind) with air conditioning, it's possible that the air conditioning should be turned down. merely stating-

UPDATE! THIS BLANKET HAD A BED BUG ON IT! SOMEONE MUST CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!.
After only one wash, the item is no longer usable, despite following the manufacturer's instructions. I'd like to hear back from the vendor so that I can give them a chance to fix the problem.
Sleeping under this blanket is incredibly soft and comfortable. After the first night of use, I was planning on buying three more, but I'm glad I didn't because the stitching was so bad that the seams split open and the stuffing spilled all over the place. It was over before a month had passed. Amazon is kind enough to provide you with a return window. This one will be returned to the library.
I've only had it for about three weeks and there's already a large tear in the stitching, which I discovered about a week ago. I was very disappointed, especially because this was exactly what I was looking for and is extremely comfortable without being too hot and heavy underneath it. Some of the stuffing has already begun to fall out, and it is no longer as fluffy as it was when it was first delivered. Maybe I just got a bad one, but based on other reviews, it appears that I'm not the only one who had a large rip in theirs.
It's so relaxing! It's nice and warm, and it's super soft. Fluffy and not overly warm, but adequate for keeping warm in the winter. This is something I would strongly suggest.
I had no idea how it was going to turn out. I had no idea what to expect when I bought this duvet insert, but it exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure how it was going to fit into my first duvet cover. To be honest, it was a bit of a challenge. Although this insert has small corner tabs, my duvet cover does not. It, on the other hand, fits in perfectly! I was also worried that the box pattern would show through on my duvet cover, but it doesn't! It's the perfect fit for my king-size bed! I had bought a comforter set to match my bedroom's theme, but when I washed it, it was a big balled mess! I came across a pattern that looked similar to a duvet and decided to try it out. I am ecstatic that I was able to do so. This comforter/duvet insert is fantastic. It shouldn't be too fluffy, too flat, too heavy, or too light. It's also very soft. This was mentioned in many reviews, and some people even used it as a stand-alone comforter. Before I stuffed it into my duvet cover, I wish I had taken a picture of it. Another advantage is that it doesn't have any odor. whatever it is!.

However, I don't leave reviews for most of the things I buy because, let's face it, I don't have time to write reviews for everything I buy. I did, however, feel compelled to write a review for this comforter. It's a white color, not a yellow-colored one. is it ish or off- It's white, but not just any white; it's a bright, pure white that's extremely soft, fluffy, and warm. I used it without a duvet cover for the first few days and it looked and felt fantastic. I decided to buy a duvet cover for it (same brand) after a few days because I didn't want to have to wash the comforter as often as I would like, so I figured it would be easier to have a duvet on it that I could just remove and wash. However, let me be clear about something: You can use it with or without a duvet cover, and it will look great either way! The most important feature of this comforter for me is that it keeps me warm at night without overheating me. My boyfriend and I used to sleep with a sheet and two comforters before purchasing this comforter because he used to get extremely cold at night and only one comforter wasn't enough. When I bought this comforter, I wanted to see how it looked on its own, so I took off the other two comforters from the bed and only kept the sheet and this one. My boyfriend was a little hesitant that night, so I asked him to bring back the two comforters in case he got cold during the night. I told him to just give it a shot because I wanted to see if the comforter alone would suffice. When we awoke the next morning, my boyfriend was overjoyed and said he'd had the best night's sleep he'd had in a long time, and that we didn't need the other two comforters any longer, so I donated the other two and kept this one: ) Let me tell you, this thing is amazing. It keeps us warm but not too hot. It's like the ideal body temperature for sleeping, and I feel like I'm sleeping in a fluffy white cloud. I feel like I'm on vacation because I'm staying in my own room in a five-star hotel! This event has had a significant impact on my life: ) Seeing my bed makes me want to take a nap every time I walk into my room! It's absolutely fantastic. br>I suppose another thing I should mention is that my dog adores this comforter as well! My dog sleeps with us every night, and we can sometimes hear him moving around in the middle of the night, trying to find a comfortable position; however, since I got this comforter, he has been sleeping through the night. I don't hear him scurrying around the bed, looking for a comfortable spot. He appears to be at ease as he lies on the comforter:.
