The box spring cover wraps around your box spring on all four sides, but does not include the top and bottom like a zippered cover does. It's not only stretchy enough to fit snugly, but it also has a deep pocket with elastics on the top and bottom all the way around.
With twin xl size, I have no idea. I received a king-sized package, but my bed is a cal king, so it fits perfectly and isn't too stretchy for me.
You can use a regular mattress and a box spring. They should be able to stay in bed without any problems.

The best Amazon purchase! I was hesitant because my boxspring is dark blue, and I was concerned that the white would show through. through. Fortunately, it was flawless, and all of the blue was covered. It was also so simple to put on that I did it with the mattress on top of it.

It was well packaged. Bag with a seal that can be used again and again. If you're like me and constantly change your bedding sets for storage when not in use, this is a great option. It may seem insignificant, but I believe that small details like this add to the value of a product. It only took me 5 minutes to get on the box springs on my own. It's as if it were made for you. Washable with a sewn-in marker to indicate which side is the longer. For my son's bed, I purchased a queen size bed in black. It's opaque, so there's no way to see the box spring through it. It stretches and drapes as if it were a second skin. It's shaped like an elastic band and wraps around the box spring. I bought a king size in white for our bed, which I have yet to put on box springs, but the material is identical to the queen size I bought. Colors are accurate. br>br> The color black is just that. br>br>Made of microfiber and spandex, the white is white. To avoid shrinkage the first couple of times you wash, I recommend hanging the clothes instead of putting them in the dryer. This box springs stretch wrap was perfect; I ordered it in silver and light gray, but kept the silver because it looked more light gray to me. To me, the light gray looked more like a medium gray. To be honest, the color difference was almost non-existent. Because we have a king size bed with a single flat mattress and split box springs, I ordered two twin stretch wraps, which fit perfectly on our two twin extra long box springs. Putting them on was a breeze. It matches our gray sheets and the box springs (which protrude above our bed's wood side rails). The white box springs were right next to the gray sheets before we put this on, and it drew your attention to a spot you didn't want to see. Before putting the stretch wrap on the bed, I washed and dried it to ensure that it wouldn't shrink when I needed to clean it. It worked perfectly because I followed the product's washing instructions to a tee.
They're great in theory, but they're not very long-lasting in practice! We recently replaced a mattress and box spring, and when I went to remove the old cover (which we had only put on two weeks ago), I noticed that two of the corners had holes in the fabric. This is not what I would expect from a high-quality product; the fabric should not have holes after only two weeks of use!.
It is extremely simple to operate. Without lifting my extremely heavy mattress, I was able to stretch my king-size box spring out over the sides of the bed and tuck it under the edges to cover the box spring.
