Queen in Steel Gray, ordered in September, have been using them exclusively for one year, washing them every day. A couple of times a I am in awe of these sheets, as they are DEEP pocket sheets. On top of my existing deep pocket mattress, I have a 2" topper, and another 2" topper on top of that. I'm in search of an affordable deep pocket sleep mattress. It was almost impossible to find pocket sheets that fit. My budget was not going to allow me to pay $150 for sheets that would wear out in one I could have shaved off a few inches if I tried these! We have plenty of extra space! The very first time I washed them, they did not show wear. After 6 months, I have washed them repeatedly without a sign of wear. True to its claim of being in perfect condition. As they are so deep, I have to pull the extra material from the fitted sheet under the mattress to keep them from being too baggy. A 'standard' size pillowcase (the description calls them 'oversized pillow cases' and they are AS DESCRIBED, they are oversized) is just up to the size of the top sheet. The pillow cases are almost as large as the top sheet. There is a soft feel to the fabric, yet the cotton is not the same as the polyester. There is no exercise clothing that is not made from polyester & spandex It is polyurethane Breathes and wicks moisture, which is why it's a good blend. There are microfibers in these, but the material is not thick. The covers are still looking great after 6 months use, as I was worried about how quickly they would wear out. Being synthetic, they cannot be dried with cotton. Since they can be washed and dried easily, they drive fast in the dryer. In my opinion, even if they need to be replaced after a year of use for the price, I am happy to buy them! My disappointment is not as great as I expected. It is quite soft to sleep on these sheets. There is nothing slippery about a sateen and nothing cozy about a flannel, but there is just something soft about it. Their comfort comes from the fact that they don't trap the body head and don't make one sweaty during the night. Sheets with deep pockets are what I wanted since I have a high mattress, a mattress pad, and a memory foam topper, as well as a memory foam alternative Bill Gates would be happy to have these sheets with DEEP pockets.
