OK, here's the truth: California Design Sheets aren't quite as good as WAMSUTTA (a brand I adore), but you won't have to pay as much for them. br>I like California Design sheet/sets because of the low price, the comfort, the look, and the feel (even if it isn't as cool and smooth as 600-thread-count sheets). 650 thread Wamsutta count, which I also purchased but will suffice for the price and quality)br>br>I've washed the pillow cases and flat sheets several times now - It still looks and feels good, and the color and texture haven't changed. br>br>It all depends on your budget and how "soft" and cool you want it to be. I gave it four stars because, while it isn't of the highest quality, it is of acceptable quality. I plan to purchase more in the future. I hope this has been of assistance.
Unless you're wealthy or retired, in which case you can spend your days lying in bed! It's difficult to get out of bed and go to work when you're using these sheets. I'm fortunate to have a flexible schedule because I work from home. I was hesitant to buy sheets online because I had only seen a picture, but I was pleasantly surprised. In the near future, I'll purchase more sheets.
I'll remind everyone that colors appear differently on different monitors. On my Dell monitor, my LG phone, and a Mac notebook, I checked out the colors on Amazon. None of the colors I saw were the same as the ones I got. To make matters worse, the color isn't indicated on the box, so you're not sure if you got the wrong color or if it's just that different from what you see on your screen. br>br>The "sky blue" sheet set and extra top sheet that I ordered appear to be more of a "dusty blue" - It has nothing to do with the sky or the sun. It's a lot grayer than any of the colors I've seen on my devices. This is a bummer because I prefer vibrant colors. Let us now discuss the color "seafoam. " I recently ordered a full set of sheets and was disappointed to find that they were darker and grayer in person than they appeared on the screen. They appeared to be a shade of "sage green. " I kept them because I was in a hurry. Because the top sheet was too small for my full-size bed, I recently ordered it in a queen size, which looks nothing like my original "seafoam" full-size top sheet. The new one is a vibrant, almost "mint green" hue. So either the original sheets they sent me (which were darker and grayer than on screen) or the queen size top sheet I just received (which is very bright) are the wrong color. br>br>Because returning everything would be too much trouble, I'll just use the mismatched and/or incorrect color sheets. I'm not likely to order from California Design Den in the future.
I recently purchased a substantial quantity of your flat bedsheets. I'm not hoarding; your fine weave cotton was ideal for lining home-sewn medical masks. br>Please keep in mind that a queen-size flat sheet will cover 100 masks. I thought I'd only need 20 or so for a family member who worked as a nurse when I first started, but I've now completed my first 100 masks and see no end in sight. br>Thank you for a fantastic product that I can use for a great cause.
Keep in mind that the King flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillow cases are all sold separately. Despite this, they were all referred to as "light blue. " The pillow cases are definitely Aqua, and the fitted sheets appear to be light green. The major issue is that they all showed up at the same time. So, like a good housewife, I unpacked, washed, and folded the boxes so they were ready for the final package to be placed on the bed. I'm going to be up all night because of this. Is it true that I'm ashamed to show off my mismatched sheet set to anyone? By any stretch of the imagination, it is not a set. I feel sorry for you, Amazon.
First and foremost, I was ecstatic to discover sheets that were "separates. " " I have a queen bed with a deep mattress, and a queen top sheet isn't wide enough to tuck in on one side while still giving me the drop I prefer on the other. So having a king flat and a queen fitted is a dream come true for me. Second, I have three cats who are notorious for destroying bedding. br>br> They are constantly "making biscuits" and can quickly deplete a top sheet. So I'm not a big fan of spending a lot of money on sheets that aren't going to last. br>br>At least for now, these sheets are sufficient. I washed them according to the instructions and they turned out beautifully - Cotton sheets are a little "crisp," but they are soft and comfortable. Unless the cats kill them first, I'm confident they'll wash well and soften over time.
We have a 13" deep queen mattress and were unable to find any queen top sheets large enough to tuck anything in. The ability to purchase separates was a huge plus. I purchased a queen fitted sheet and a cal king top, as well as matching pillowcases. With elastic all around, the bottom sheet is a perfect fit. I like that the sheet has top and bottom labels so I don't have to turn it until it fits. Very comfortable and soft.
India is listed as the "Country of Origin" on the product information. The sheets, as well as the box in which they arrived, are labeled, however: "Made in China" is a phrase used to describe a product that is made in.
