Questions & Answers

Is it possible to bleach white sheets without them turning gray?

They can be bleached, of course. They are 100% cotton and made of 100% cotton and made of 100% cotton These sheets have been bleached numerous times by me. I'm the owner of a high-end vacation rental firm. I have 75 sets of these sheets in various sizes, all in white, and I use bleach for obvious sanitary reasons and to keep the sheets bright white. I have used these sheets exclusively for the last 5 years and they remain soft and as white as the day I took them out of the box, despite hundreds of washes each. I can put a brand new, out-of-the-box set next to a used, freshly laundered set that has been bleached 50 times and you won't be able to tell the difference. Just don't wash anything else with these sheets if you don't want to ruin them. I'm specifically referring to the sheets and pillowcases. Other items (socks, shirts, towels, etc) may contain a mix of other fabrics such as polyester, spandex, etc and when bleached in the same load as the 100% This is simply my opinion, based on my previous experience with these sheets. br>I get public reviews on popular vacation rental sites praising my bedding, and I sleep on these sheets at home as well. Do you want to add a layer of luxurious softness to your outfit? After each wash, I iron the sheets and pillow cases for my guests, and wow, they feel buttery soft while remaining cool and crisp; these are incredible!

King pillows are commonly used by people who have twin or queen beds. Why are standard pillows only available with sets from companies? It is not possible to purchase the items separately. ?

People with twin beds or queen beds have never used king pillows, as far as I'm aware. I sleep in a king-size bed with standard pillows.

Are these of a reasonable thickness? I'd like to get the pure white, but I'm hoping they're not see-through. through. ?

The sheets I got (white split king) are so thin that we can barely feel them. I don't think they'll last very long. They absorb a lot of sweat and are extremely cold. By the wee hours of the morning, my skin had become clammy. When we dried this set on medium in our electric dryer, we were astounded by the amount of lint that came out. It splattered all over the dryer interior, filling the lint filter in the process. Nothing like this has ever been seen before.

I'd like to purchase only two (light grey) king pillowcases. ?

First, figure out which qualities are important to you
5/5

Years ago, I had a sheet set that I didn't care for at the time; the kind of purchase you make when you're young and money isn't an issue, but then put away when your color preferences change. I recently rediscovered that set (which is no longer usable since we upgraded to a larger bed) and realized something. Those sheets didn't pill, wear, or fray. And now, each night, I navigate and avoid holes with "soft" sheets. br>br>Because I assumed that repurchasing good sheets would be expensive, I've put it off for months. In the meantime, I was trying to figure out what it was about those original sheets that I liked so much. The tags had been in use for quite some time. I had no idea what brand, material, or weave they were made of. br>br>All I knew was that I liked the crispness, weight, and overall thickness of them. br>br> And what I was looking for was long-staple cotton. br>br>I found these sheets in particular on Amazon for a much lower price than I had anticipated. br>br>Some people describe it as itchy. Crisp, in my opinion. br>Some describe it as wrinkled - I say. duh. Some say lower thread count - cotton
Some say lower thread count - cotton thread count - cotton th I mention the thread quality usedbr>br>I'll update if I notice any degradation with use, but so far everything has been fine. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> There has been no discernible wear despite the fact that it is nearly a year late. They're a little softer now, but they still look great because there's no pilling or fraying. These were exactly what I was looking for.

In my vacation rental business, these are the only sheets that I use! To add to my existing inventory, I recently purchased 25 sets of these sheets
5/5

I wrote another detailed review a while ago, so I'll add to it by explaining why I like these sheets in the first place. A few years ago, I set out on a quest for the "perfect sheet. " I wanted to find the best sheets for my guests so that they can experience the level of luxury that they deserve while staying at one of my properties. I bought all of the sheets that were advertised on the radio and on the internet. I even bought a consumer magazine subscription to learn more about the sheets they compared. I bought everything on the list because $400 for a queen set of sheets was too much for me. But I did it. I compared the California Design Den set (which I bought for my own bed) to the $400 set and the other five sets on the consumer list, using a powerful magnifying glass to see the differences in the weave, closing my eyes and feeling them, smelling them, photographing them, washing and drying them all, and sleeping on them all. Six different sets of sheets (all 400TC Sateen Weave) had no discernible difference in appearance, feel, or odor. There may have been minor differences in the name tags, seam thread, top thread design, shipping container, and so on, but there was no difference in the way it felt or how I slept. The one who noticed the difference was my wallet! On a number of occasions, I've received public feedback on my linens. I now have over 150 of these sheets in various sizes, all of which are white. I've never had a problem with any of the sets, and they've all been the same. If the instructions state that they should be washed before sleeping on them, then follow them. I followed the drying instructions in the package, being careful not to BAKE the sheets on high heat. I do all of the laundry for my vacation rental company, and I've always followed the instructions. I wash about 40 sets per week on average (it's closer to 80 during the summer). I've had these for almost two years and they're still as soft and lovely as they were when I first got them.

You don't need to look any further; these sheets are what you're looking for
5/5

For a few weeks, I, like many others, have been looking for the perfect sheet set. I've read a lot of reviews and am undecided about which ones I should take into account. My goal was to find sheets that would fit my queen Tempepedic mattress with a pillow top. I'm tired of buying "deep" or "extra deep" pocketed sheets that I still have to wrestle with to get on the bed's last corner. I've been holding my breath as I tried to stretch it out, my poor fingers getting pinched in the process, and I've been thinking. Please refrain from ripping. They always rip at the seam in the end. I've bought everything from the high-end to the low-end. From a set at your local wholesaler club to a ridiculously high price for a Vera Wang set, there's something for everyone. If I found sheets that claimed to be deep enough to fit my mattress the material of the sheets were a blend and not 100% cotton in my search. Getting 100% cotton is very important to me and I've found them to be the most reliable to me. When it comes to cotton, some people complain about wrinkles. This is easily remedied by not overloading your dryer and drying your sheets too long. In addition, the company includes a care card that discusses over-drying. Some people may wish to iron their pillowcases at the very least. I cover my sheets with a comforter to hide any wrinkling. I haven't had the sheets long enough to notice if they pill. I used to get pilling if I chose a thread count that was too high. Although 400 may not appear to be a high number to some, these sheets were surprisingly soft and silky both before and after washing. They aren't haughty or obnoxious in any way. Elastic runs the length of the fitted sheet and includes a "foot" tag for easy corner identification. Before and after washing are included in the photos I took. With the fitted sheet, I have plenty of room, and my fingers are no longer pinched! They could probably fit a mattress that was about 15 inches thicker than mine. It's possible that 18 inches is pushing it. I'm satisfied with my purchase and plan to make more in the future. (The wrinkles in the last photo are after washing; the wrinkles in the other photos are before washing. ).
